To tame a raptor for defence or offence you,ll at least become level 21 and learn tranq arrows after get bolas and you will need to be around need to be around level 10 for them then migrate to the west because raptors most commonly spawn there single out a raptor if needed or tame the pack I recommend singling them out bola them or get on a high rock and start tranqing them out with tranq arrows hit them in the head with tranqs if there about level 50 or above once you’ve knocked it out wait for about half it’s food to drain then put meat in there inventory while keeping them knocked out put wooden spike walls around it to protect it from any predators while knocked out after 10 or 30 minutes it should have lost enough food then put food in its inventory

If you need arrows just kill this guy with your dinos a bunch of times and collect arrows from it inventory if nothing is there check your dinos. wHAt dO i SeE iN yOuR iNvEnToRy

If you have a tribe of 2 then get two raptors with saddles and you will be good to go

We'll, I mean they are good and excellent for lower level players because they are really easy to tame but for them to be effective, you need at least a small pack of them or they are going to get shredded to pieces.

With 3 decent lvl ed raptors and a parasaur (put points into hp for para) distract the rex with your para and whistle the raptor to attack rex, the rex would be to focused on you to notice them and even if it does notice its usaully too late

If you see a alpha just grab a Mastercraft shotgun and an Argentavis and tag team it, the Argentavis will distract it and while it’s doing that shot it in the anus

All u need is a shield leather pants and shirt and a metal pick or axe and they can’t touch u

If you tame one of these and upgrade health and strength then u can kill carnos,rexs but i rather not do that if u want to live

An preety good early tame. The pounce is useful on PvP, but only on PC(It is. removed on Console)

They should add alpha creatures to here. By the way you can’t bola an alpha raptor for an easier

Make an auto farm for meat/tek Dino drops/chitin/hide/ ETC

Have all of the,example, tek paras for an auto tek farm the paras go on top so the eggs and poop can fall in to the area where you you’d have the raptor and maybe and dung beetle for poop clean up,set the raptor to aggressive so it can kill the baby’s that hatch and then harvest them for the resources. Really hope this might help a lot of people trying to find a way to farm as many recoiled that they need 🙂

I recommend leveling up stamina, dmg,Heath,and weight, maybe some speed

A raptor is super useful. It is fast and a good attacker. If you tame a few you could beat any Dino.

Never take your raptor in water, piranhas have very good taste

I got a whole raptor pack of more than 15 raptors it was insane I killed three brontos with them

If you have a baby raptor, you can pick it up with a pteradon.

Keep a few in your base. Near interior turrets set to survivors only. They'll quickly pounce your invaders. Unmounting them, and pinning them to the ground to be riddled with bullets.

Tamed raptors can pounce its the same as the barrel roll attack for the pterra

Great for breeding. Got like 60-90 baby's in a day they all grew up same day yet had horrid health even though their parents had thousands of health points. Both where perfect 150 tames. My reaper and drake almost killed em though. I had a tek base and my first tame was a ravager
