With the pounce ability this Dino can make a great mount for collecting small amounts of meat.

They can and will chase down down Parasaurs which makes them useful for collecting hide.

I have 3 raptors and In lost island I keep on killing carnos and killed like 3 Rex

This is the best starter creature If you are Playing on scorched earth you can find them near and around red obelisk

Once you tame the raptor you can pump up the weight if you wanna use it to carry a lot of recourses or metal

This guy is an op tame for starter

But if you are lv 40 or less with no guns do not mess with alpha raptors

To jump on something on mobile, wile riding the raptor swipe down next to the creature u want to pin. You don’t hive to be facing the creature, just close enough to do base attack. Then SPAM attack

Don’t be scared to explore with these guys and see what dinos are around you, the raptor could outrun any threats unless in water

Raptors now get a pack bonus so tame at least 5 and you'll get a great pack bonus.

Handy Tip: If you get pinned down, spam that jump button like you're try to a open a god of war chest. You'll be up in no time. Run to a bronto or a trike right after!

Quit calling them velociraptors they are utahraptors trust me I saw it on the wiki and it said this: the utahraptor or simply raptor is one of the creatures in ark survival evolved.

I really love them. Absolutely one of my favorites. They are REALLY useful to travel around because they’re very fast, which means, if you level their stamina and speed enough, you can and will get away from anything.

Level up their strength and health and they can be used as a bodyguard to help while you tame.

They are also good gatherers of raw meat, raw prime meat and leather.

If you’re still a low level player (less than 10), I do not recommend searching for a Raptor alone (in case you’re playing with others).

If you’re single player (like me), you have to wait at least a couple more levels to get them.

Immobilize a raptor with a Bola, tranquilize it (low level Raptors can die, so be careful) and wait a while to feed it.

Don’t forget to have some narcotics on, in case torpor starts dropping too much.

Really good for early game pve/pvp and can be used as a base defense for late game because of their pounce ability. I think the best thing you can do is swap them for deinonychus late game because they’re just better in most ways as a pack Dino. If your on gen than shadowmanes are the best dinos in the game all around.

To the guy who said you could take down bosses with these, have you ever done that?

When it’s seen you to escape swim away from it soon it’ll leave you alone(NO SHALLOW WATERS)When killing bola it and then stab it with a pike or slash it with a sword(if you have a flying creature just fly away to escape)if it jumps on you it will bite you over and over again soon it’ll get tired and get off avoid it unless you have a good creature(lvl 50 or more)

If you failed to tame one then use your old save and do it again! Easy i did it before and i tamed one, good luck!

For the person who’s dilo killed theirs, whistle passive before it can attack!

Get 3 or more so you can get the alpha boost, it means all your pack raptor stats its up and the higher level get the alpha boost
