Once I was trying to tame a carno in a pen I forgot to put my raptor (level 9) on passive then the carno bit me my raptor charged at the carno killing it in 2 seconds he was a good hunter.

tamed raptors can make meat not spoil for long time when your riding it you can do the pounce attack like wild ones do go near a small creature do the pounce attack then the raptor your riding on sits on the small dino then do the normal attack reapiet doing it then the raptor will eats it alive

Get a good one a sword or good melee and throw it at a level 100 trike and it will be over VERY quickly

I once killed an Alpha Raptor with leather armor and pikes and spears but my other raptor got killed in the process and so did I but I got REVENGE MWAHAHAHA ( Run before it’s to late)

you can find raptors in dark areas or humid areas of ark, the most common biome you will ever find raptors is the redwoods or outside the redwoods next to a river or swamp, you can use bolas and punch it, but it might escape and pounce you so its strongly recommended to use a taming pen, i like to use a quetzel to put a platform saddle on it, use ramps, window frames and foundations, and wait for a raptor to go inside the pen, and then i fly back to my base and knock out the raptor with a slingshot

A pack of 3-4 mid level raptors and a couple of dimorphs make for a great PvP pack when running solo. The speed of these creatures combined with their ease of tame and utility makes for a force to be reckoned with. Ghille armor, a few raps and dimorphs, and maybe a tank and you're set to solo any players without huge tames.

So a tip if u have a raptor is u can pounce with it while riding on it. Idk how to do on pc only on mobile. Yk when u jump u have to swipe up yeah? Swipe down instead and swipe down near the creature that u wanna pounce on (u can only pounce on creatures smaller than the raptor for example: Dodo, Dilo, Lystro and more.)when ur riding the raptor. Pounce on and hit it while standing on it. Hope this was helpful!

Raptors are great but tame higher levels because they dont have much weight which can be a pain.

But they are great tames overall

Build a pen and nonstop breed and fill it with raptors, pegomastax, troodons, ichthyornis, eels, kaprosuchus, thylacoleo, purlovia, squids, direwolves, arthropluera, titanoboa, poison wyverns, ice wyverns, piranhas, megalania, bats, rock golems, managarmr, and yutyrannus and fill it with c4 and you now have a stress relief pen.

These things can pin Dinos up to the size of you

I don't like Raptors when they're not tamed

Great starter tames, as you move on to endgame tame some 150’s and boom you have a raptor that will be your companion during hard times.

Remove these things pounce or make them pounce after ATLEAST 5 seconds like i was taming an argy and this one 120 raptor attacked me and pounced. Good thing i had nice armor so i killed it after the pounce. But srsly pls fix this

These are literal killing machines!

I killed 2 paraceras all at once with no prob,and an easy tame

Before entering some big fight with that ride, force feed him stimberries ;

It would drop the feed level, and by so, it would provide some kind of automatically force feed (more or less same effect for argentavis, just when you've farmed a corps)

This technic, plus a good saddle would makes you almost invulnerable (didn't tried yet with other tames, honestly)

Works on mobile, no clue for other devices

On scorched earth they’re essential tames At the start they could help you can use one to help you get a morelatops by running it down and help you collect meat to spoil to make narcotics or to cook as food.

Does anybody think that these should have a call that means come here…this is what I think:when you see a raptor it puts out this call sound that alerts other raptors then they team up as a pack?

To pack bost press the same buttons as if you were pack boosting deinonychus

The new pounce ability pins dinos. I use it to tame small critters like phiomia and dilo.

Pump weight speed and health. When going out from base keep some meat in raptors inventory. Very useful for going to far away places due to their high speed. Do not try to fight alphas with raptors, they don't do good against alphas.
