To tame a Raptor, throw a bola at it and knock it out unconscious with the following items: wooden club, sling shot, bow with tranq arrow, or crossbow with tranq arrow. Then feed it meat to tame it. It’s actually not that hard.

If you bola it make sure to stand near the back if you hit it at the front it will hit you

They are the best starter tames if u live in danger areas I had a pair of them I breed them and now I have 6 I killed 2 high level allosourus and 3 therizino and 3 spino with them they are op of u breed right ones

Hey if your a mobile user and you want to breed anything and need to turn on wandering to get rapter tres or how ever many put a bunch of rocks in their inventory to encumber them so the cant run away feom froced baby making

If your levels are too low to craft pteranodon saddle i recommend you riding a raptor

Good early game tame if its high level, bola it, shoot its head with tranquilizer arrows, and give it prime. And tamed

Super easy tame! So all you have to do is get some bolas, and find a raptor. Oh and also have a couple tranq arrows to knock out. Try and stay away from packs and try to find a single one. Wait till it runs at you and bola it from a fair distance. Then shoot it with tranq arrows. It won't take many. Then feed it meat or kibble. When tamed equip your saddle! Hope this helped : )

If u are a low level just bola a single raptor. After they are trapped quickly knock them out. Raptors eat meat. They are fast and decently strong. RIP Clyde.

The raptor is an easy tame taking bout 2 traq arrows to knock. I fed it normal meat and it tamed very very fast.

Before I hit ten days in ark I already had several of them and a sarco we are unstoppable

To tame one you simply need

2 bolas in case you miss the first

A slingshot (25 rocks) at most

And 7 meat more or less

Make sure that you throw the bola before the raptor jumps on you and get a male and female and breed about 3 times and that should be enough early on protection

For those of you who have been trying to build a pack, one raptor at a time. Build a 4x4 wooden box. Put one doorway, and make sure there is an extra wall above the door. Put ramps on the opposite side of the door. Find a pack nearby, agro them, and lead them over the ramps and into the box. Exit the door quickly. From then on it's literally like shooting fish in a barrel.

You will need a lot of tranqs, depending on how many are in the pack, and a lot of meat. Don't worry if some of them are low level. The raptor strategy is strength in numbers.

Get enough raptors and you will be unstoppable.

Easy tame for beginners Step

1. Craft about 6 bolas because they are mostly the in packs

2.use bola on raptor(s)

3. Tranq till knock out and feed meat

4.harvest extra Narcoberries

5. Take it from there👍👍

Very useful tame early on and quite easy to tame as well just bola the legs then club away raw meat and like less than 5 min u have a raptor then upgrade weight to around 250+ then u have a fast ride that can jump and hold people and animals down ultimately a very useful tame

Fairly easy tame. Try to bola it. Just don’t get pounced on or your dead. Knock it out with club, and feed it. Boom. That’s how I got my 2 raptors star and moon.

These creatures have insane speed and are able to out run a new player. The ones I’m near spawn near beach’s because there’s lots of things to kill there. Anyways back to the tip. Raptors CAN live in packs but some are alone, try to find a alone raptor. You don’t need much to tame one, go ahead and get a few narcotics and raw meat. Stand on a rock and wait for it to come to your fire range. Shoot the animal, once it’s down feed it raw meat and wait. Congrats you tamed a raptor! You can up it’s speed so it’s a speed demon, or something else. Raptors have a alt attack that it can jump on small prey and rip it apart. Saddles are worth it, don’t carry to many items though. How to tame a raptor:

Get 5 bolas and a slingshot (if u haven't reached lvl 21 yet) with 50 rocks or more. do NOT use the baseball bats cuz they are close range and the raptor can easily pounce on you. after you knock it out you need to shove the meat into it's throat. Defend it while it's taming and here you go you now have a bodyguard.

(Saddle lvl: 18 lvl)

Use kibble, since it's only parasaur kibble, it's easy to get and well worth it so knock out a high level and just use kibble.

can fit through doorframes, unless they have a door aswell then they can fit through, need a door on the doorframe so they cant get through

Hi! I don’t really post many tips often but here you are! Here is how to tame one of these guys ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) (THIS IS FOR MOBILE)

What will you need?

Some meat, can be cooked. Works best with prime and parasaur kibble though (The amount depends on the level but if you don’t know the level bring around 15 if playing on easy, 20 if on medium and on and on)

Bola (bring multiple just in case there is a pack 1-5)

Tranq arrows (OPTIONAL)

That’s pretty much it! Now to the taming.

Step 1

Get as far as you can without letting it see you , wait for it to come running at you then when you’re confident it won’t miss , throw a bola FAST.

Step 2

If you brought tranqs , start shooting it with them till it falls , if not you can use a club or even your fists! DONT USE A WEAPON IT WILL DIE!

Step 3

Put the meat/kibble in its inventory and begin waiting, GUARD THE AREA FROM ANYTHING THAT WILL ATTACK IT OR ITS PACK.
