Dinodude8’s tip for taming! ( a new series of taming info for all the creatures possible. If I get to 10 Uhpvutes (I did that on purpose!) on this I will do dilo😄.) STEP 1: get bolas, Narcotic arrows, and a lot of meat (preferably prime but anything will do) weapons and some sustainable armor (if possible do it with friends! For fun and effectiveness, just make sure you tell them that you are TAMING it…not killing it. I learned that the hard way) STEP 2: find a raptor. Look at ark wiki for locations if you need help. Bola it and either take out or if you have bolas to spare and enough meat tame the other packmates. STEP 3: Once it has been knocked out feed it meat. And then…you have a raptor! P.S if you want. Craft a saddle beforehand so you can ride it back to base.

No-one's shared a tip about raptor breeding so I thought I'd help you folk out!

Raptors hatchlings are really easy to take care of. They hatch with about 3 standing torches, although the number varies depending on the ambient temperature of your region and time of day. They'll need about a stack of raw meat to make it through the entire maturation process and can be fed from a trough once they reach the 'juvenile' stage (10% maturity), however you WILL need to give them food beforehand as they'll starve before they reach 10%. Otherwise you can really just leave them be. Obviously they can't be ridden and I strongly don't recommend fighting with raptors that haven't matured yet as they have less health than a fully grown raptor (which already has low hp).

It's easy to tame these guys, u just need to be careful, so let's learn how!

U need:few bolas, (if u missing or there's a pack)and meat (raw meat) tip: before you going to use the Bola or idk. chack first if there's a pack or a solo raptor.

Step 1-use the Bola on the raptor and start to attack it, if u attack it with ur hand, attack it from the back.

Step 2-attack it until its sleeping

Step 3-when its sleeping, give it the raw meat and wait!

And boom! U have a raptor! Good luck!

You need tranqs because I killed one with my fists

Here’s a quick tip on taming these clever girls.

So first off you gotta find it by itself, if it has a pack try killing them if you can, if you can’t then try luring them away (would recommend a friend to do this) and then once you’ve got sights on your raptor bola it and then either hit it with clubs or tranq it with tranq arrows then add a stack of meat and protect it until it tames, raptor saddle is at lvl 18, hope this helped.

If ur wondering how to tame these guys, don’t worry, I tamed one that had 1,000 health. If u want practice getting close to raptors, I recommend doing the raptor hunt pursuit before u attempt to tame a raptor. First, u need to be prepared. Get at least 3-4 bolas, a pike, tranq arrows and bow, and meat and narcotic. For a low lvl u probably won’t need narcotic but mine was lvl 95 so i hv no idea about low lvls. Next, u need to find raptors. They’re usually found in the forest in the far southeast of the Island. Then u just need to knock it out. Approach it slowly and wait for it to run towards u (u don’t wanna go towards it bc then it only has to run a short distance to come attack u). Give urself plenty of time and when it runs towards u, throw bola and knock it out quickly (bolas only last 30 seconds). Put meat in its inventory and use narcotic if unconscious bar goes too low. Keep ur eye out for other raptors (they usually hunt in packs) and use ur pike to defend urself and ur raptor. I recommend bringing a few fighting creatures in case u get jumped on. Once the taming bar reaches the end, u hv a raptor! Raptor saddle unlocks at lvl 18 but if ur still too scared (like me) i recommend waiting till u hv at least tranq arrows (unlock at lvl 21).

Raptors are very useful bc they are pretty fast and they attack well.

Talon (my raptor), is now lvl 130 and it has been a trusty backup when I go hunting. Plz up so other players see this.

Here’s how to tame a raptor

Step 1 get bolas (get more then one just in case you miss)

Step 2 kill Dino’s for meat

Step 3 find the raptor you want to tame

Step 4 bola it

Step 5 knock it out

Step 6 put the meat in its inventory

Step 7 wait till it tames

You don't really need to make the kibble for the raptor, it tames fairly quickly with just raw meat. When you tame them, make sure you're either in a clear, flat area or shooting at it from where it can't get to you. When on flat land, snag it with a bola when it runs directly at you so you have a clear shot. You could either hit it with a slingshot or tranq arrows and it will go down quickly. Watch out for other raptors, they often hang out in packs.

Do not get so scared when you see a raptor just craft a bola which is cheap,it traps the raptors for 30secs which is more then enough to shoot it with tranqs or hit it with a club

Hello I will show you how to tame a raptor! But first, I love the raptors because 1. They are fast and strong 2. They are easy to tame!

Step 1. Get a bola. You might need more if you are on the edge of a hill.

Step 2. Make sure the raptor sees you. When he spots you he will run straight at you, Now is your chance! Bola him and knock him out! Make sure you have a least 10 pieces of meat (raw) before taming! Enjoy! Plz like if this was helpful!

I got my first raptor at level 8 .

All you need is a bola or a few if you have bad aim or there's a pack.You also need 10 to 15 normal meat or 5 prime meat

Raptor are a really good dino at low levels they r easy to tame too

Tip :if you get them on a high level and keep them on agressive they will gather a lot of meat and hide ,if you tap the left side of the screen or mouse they will pounce and stop small animals from attacking or moving .

My first raptor survived with me till level 67 and she was level 94 ,yes I was on easy mode .But she killed a level 36 carno but then a dilo killed her😭😭😭

I got revenge by killing a lot of dilos,my second raptor is at level 106

Quite easy to tame *if* you have a bola. Simply bola it, and shoot it in the head with either tranq arrows or a slingshot. If you don't have a bola and see one of these guys charging at you, shoot it with tranq arrows or if you have it, stronger tranq ammo. Low levels will fall to one or two tranq arrows. I've seen tips telling you to starve-tame them, but it's really not nessesary. Just give them some raw meat - or if you're feeling eextra, kibble. You shouldn't need any narcotics for levels under 30. And there you go, enjoy your new raptor. Up if this helped!

Bolas are the best for Raptor taming.

Instead of using your bola on the raptor. How about letting your tribemate get pounced and get mauled by the raptor? The raptor is busy mauling tribemate how about using that as an advantage it just stands still now take your knockout weapon of choice and ta da!! KO sure your tribemember will be angry but a sacrifice will come at a greater reward.

Here's an easy way to tame a raptor

1 bring bolas. You will need atleast 5 or to be more safe 10. Then just bola it before that go on the back of a pteranadon or moth and look for the one you want to tame then kill the other ones bola the high level one.

2 narcotics and tranq arrows. Raptors don't need much narcs or tranqs to tame but bring extra if there's another one you want to tame.

3 FOOD. I would bring simple kibble or just raw meat they'll both work just fine. Put the FOOD in its inventory and the last step-

4 wait. You won't have to wait a long time but bring narcs and a early yet strong tame like a moschops, trike, and if it's high level a Para protect it and when it wakes up BAM you have a raptor! Up if this guide helps down if it did not! :)

How to tame (VERY EASY): craft a bow. Craft tranq arrows. Shoot the raptor three times. Shove food down its throat until it decides to be you friend :). (I did this on mobile and idk if it works the same way of pc)

They are fast, faster and more intelligent than you think. Bola them and attack them from behind. They are easy to tame but difficult to escape. Just be as responsive as you can.

To tame a Raptor, throw a bola at it and knock it out unconscious with the following items: wooden club, sling shot, bow with tranq arrow, or crossbow with tranq arrow. Then feed it meat to tame it. It’s actually not that hard.

If you bola it make sure to stand near the back if you hit it at the front it will hit you
