Here's an easy way to deal with alpha raptors : step one : once you get to lvl 35 you'll get the hunt terror bird pursuit make sure to unlock the sword.. then use a flyer like a pteranadon to go to he redwoods.. you can use a sword to kill them like the pursuit tells you or use something else to kill it like the flyer you have.. oh yeah I forgot you need lvl 38 for a pteranadon saddle so wait until you have that then go do it..once you kill three the pursuit is completed and you'll get an ascendant sword that can do up to 800 damage if you have high enough melee damage... 236%.. then if you dont have a raptor already get a raptor and put a saddle on... then clear out all the normal raptors that you don't want cause they can pounce you.. an alpha raptor can't pounce once your done clearing all the normal raptors nearby pounce the alpha raptor with a tamed raptor and use your ascendant sword to finish it off. You can use weopons on a raptors back.

The creatures can damage and chop down trees, but will not gather thatch or wood.

Try find a single Rapter if your bad like me or 2playler olfline have alot of bolas

Step 1

Craft a bola

Step 2

Gather meet atleast 15

Step 3

Find a raptor

Step 4

Stan in a safe distance

Step 5

When raptor run towards u through bola on him

Step 6

Go backside of raptor and start punching him until his is unconscious

Step 7

Put food in his bag and wait for tame

Here’s how to tame one noobs step one make a bola step two get prime meat from baby Dino’s find and bola a raptor knock it out with club and boom. You have raptor up if this was helpful

Remove their pouncing and i would be so happy.

If u encounter an alpha raptor get on a high rock and use a bow or a sling shot and some bola’s and hit it if u encounter a regular raptor that has 200 health then just hit it with ur hands or a wooden club and jump around so it doesn’t jump on u or just run around so it doesn’t try to jump on u.

How to tame when your low level in ark

Step 1:craft bola,slingshot or wooden club, and narcotics

Step 2:find raptor

Step 3:trap the raptor using bola

Step 4:knock it out

Step 5:you can have the raptor

To tame one you want to put them in a wooden cage and nock them out and then after they are tame destroy the cage and you got your self a nice raptor. I hope I could help some of you out

Very fast and pretty strong starter dino. If you have 3 or more raptors tamed you get a pack bonus wich boosts all nearby tamed raptors stats. If you get like 6 raptors you have a pretty strong group of dinos and you can start grinding for example keratin. In pvp it also has this attack that picks players of their mount so you can kill them for loot.

Instead of bola-ing your friend and then running how about bola-ing the raptor

If you encounter a alpha raptor,make a cage and get inside it and leave the door open.once it gets in attack it as quick as you can,since it cant pounce on you cuse your in a cage it makes it easier.(this dosent work for starter players with no chitin armor or sword)

When I was lever 16 I tamed 2 Raptors named Barry and Angel. When I was in a swampy area I set them on passive so I could tame a new creature but some titanotobas ganged up on me but right before I got knocked out I set them to aggressive and killed all of them when I was knocked out but they died 3 days later to a Therizinosaur

Quick tip if you have a wooden base and a raptor is chasing you go inside of your base and it will attack your base and then tranq it out and boom you got a raptor ( It can’t do damage on wood )

Get a Pair of high level ones and breed them.

You will end up with an army in no time and these little suckers will shred anything, even alpha karkinos or basilisks on aberration are hillariously easy to kill. And you can farm trilobites just pouncing up and down the rivers with a pack in tow. Just hit one and your pack will finish the job and remember to use the packs hunting call

Go to Info of Raptor scroll down to Knock out underneath you can change the stats to X Raptor works for any X variant too 👌👌👌

Step 1= bola the raptor

Step 3= feed it raw meat, raw mutton, kibble, etc. (basically any type of meat)

Step 4= force feed it narcotics when about to be conscious

An Alone raptor in nothing. But a gruop of raptor CAN KILL DOWN A REX!!!

This is a way that takes like 2 Minutes.

Step 1: craft a few bolas

Step 2: get about 10 meat for one raptor 20 for 2

Step 3: find a raptor and bola it

Step 4: put meat in it’s inventory

Step 5: craft a saddle

Step 6: now you have a raptor that you can ride
