Ok so in the ark you are starting of you think you are good because you have a dodo and then a raptor knoks on your door you open the door and bop the raptor on the head so then it bites your head off. Ark logic

These things are super easy to knock out. Just keep punching the same one and it goes to sleep!

If you want to tame them let them run to you with your bola ready then throw them with it and knock it out with a bat

1. Find a raptor

2. Bola it

3. Get a club and hit it as much as you can (only if the raptor is a low lvl maybe under 50 at least, if over use some tranqs) (make sure your club is at full health)

4. It should be knocked out and then give it some meat.

TIP: When ever I tame raptors, once their unconscious I just give em meat and go on with my day cause later on once I’m back at my base I can just request it :D (for new players just press the button on your tames, but I think the request thing only works on mobile)

I tamed a level 108 raptor and a rex killed her and I recomend dont want to die? Do 0.0 player ressistence and even a rex wont kill you or anything

I don’t know if this works with higher level ones but I played on mobile single player and I tamed it by using a bola and knocking it out with a club and then I only needed raw meat no narcotics no raw prime meat just raw meat but I tamed a level 1 so I don’t know for higher levels

I had a single raptor take down a carno in like seconds

When facing the ‘thugs of ark’ they will run towards the player and jump on them, pinning them down, they then proceed to RIP YOU TO SHREDS.

However for a low level player their is a trick that can be used against these vermin, they attack any neutral or passive animial, so if a player were to run by another animial, the raptor will attack them and if it attacks neutral animals like Trikes or Stegou’s then there is a chance they will die

just bring a high level trike and use it as bait and bola the raptor

You can knock out a raptor by hitting it in the face with one or two tranq arrows you cannot take the alpha raptors but I had a pack of eleven raptors at level fifty and I killed the alpha raptor in seconds with no casualties and it gets you cool items and prime meat

You find alpha you forcetame you cryo so you can make it move while riding Tada you have super raptor yay

Usually spawn in the south of the island also known as the war zones of the south

I tried taming one of these but miserably failed, I then had to use my parasaurolophus Peter to get my loot back. He then died but I got my loot and killed the evil raptor. RIP Peter

The raptor, fast, deadly, commonish, it's easy to knock out yet harder to maintain it, you gotta feed it about a stack of meat (raw) each day and it will last or spoil, but it's more than worth it, tips: wild; use Bola then use tranqs or your fists, tamed; one stack meat per day will last, but nothing wrong getting more!, if you change dino add per level in settings on the host/local in advanced, you can make it like 500 hp add and it'll be almost tougher than a giga, if you do 33006 hp 45330 Stam 45000 food 50000 weight 300 speed 680 dmg you will be able to fight a giga with that thing. Good luck taming though! They hunt in pairs like 2-5, if you find a lone one it's most likely alpha as they come in 1's, and sometimes a pack has one alpha even, so good luck! First:throw a bola at it

Two:K.O. it(well you know with I mean)

Three:shove raw prime meat down its gullet( i would have a soothing balm if ur on Android/ios)

You definitely need torpo for this guy. Mine is like 160 and when he was at 34% he was already more than half way awake.

If u encounter an alpha raptor get on a high rock and use a bow or a sling shot and some bola’s and hit it if u encounter a regular raptor that has 200 health then just hit it with ur hands or a wooden club and jump around so it doesn’t jump on u or just run around so it doesn’t try to jump on u.
