1. Find a raptor

2. Bola it

3. Get a club and hit it as much as you can (only if the raptor is a low lvl maybe under 50 at least, if over use some tranqs) (make sure your club is at full health)

4. It should be knocked out and then give it some meat.

TIP: When ever I tame raptors, once their unconscious I just give em meat and go on with my day cause later on once I’m back at my base I can just request it :D (for new players just press the button on your tames, but I think the request thing only works on mobile)

I tamed a level 108 raptor and a rex killed her and I recomend dont want to die? Do 0.0 player ressistence and even a rex wont kill you or anything

When facing the ‘thugs of ark’ they will run towards the player and jump on them, pinning them down, they then proceed to RIP YOU TO SHREDS.

However for a low level player their is a trick that can be used against these vermin, they attack any neutral or passive animial, so if a player were to run by another animial, the raptor will attack them and if it attacks neutral animals like Trikes or Stegou’s then there is a chance they will die

How to tame a raptor. First we must prepare

-tranq arrows or club

-meat,prime,mutton

-naracotics or narcoberries

-saddle for the raptor

-bolas

Now the taming begins

-find a raptor

-bola him/her

-knock it out with bow,crossbow or club

-put meat in into its inventory

Wait and……. BOOM you have a raptor enjoy!

If you jump then pounce before you touch the ground

You will double jump on your raptor

So here's a tip to tame these!

1. Bring bolas!!! I recommend 5 to 8 (if you miss or there's a pack)

2. Bring narcotics! If you bring a good amount of narcotics you won't loose the raptor.

3. Make sure to also bring a sacrifice, if you bring a sacrifice the raptor or raptord will go after it! (I also recommend bringing a dino with high health!)

4. Remember to also bring meat! Any meat will do! ( except fish meat i think)

And done! You got your raptor!!!(I hope)

Hi everyone if you want get a raptor you need 2 or 3 bolas first you need to look for alone raptor get your bola ready and get it went you get him attack him but not in his head because he can attack you attack him from the back and but food on him and if a another raptor is coming to you throw him a bola and to the same thing. Shields can block the damage from the raptor's pounce.

These things are super easy to knock out. Just keep punching the same one and it goes to sleep!

I saw 3 alpha raptors and like 40 deinonychus chasing gallimimus wtf?

If you want to tame them let them run to you with your bola ready then throw them with it and knock it out with a bat

If you find a high high level raptor I have tips for you

First:throw a bola at it

Two:K.O. it(well you know with I mean)

Three:shove raw prime meat down its gullet( i would have a soothing balm if ur on Android/ios)

You definitely need torpo for this guy. Mine is like 160 and when he was at 34% he was already more than half way awake.

I don’t know if this works with higher level ones but I played on mobile single player and I tamed it by using a bola and knocking it out with a club and then I only needed raw meat no narcotics no raw prime meat just raw meat but I tamed a level 1 so I don’t know for higher levels

I had a single raptor take down a carno in like seconds

Be careful! These guys can jump and knock you off your saddle! I got dismounted from my lvl 53. Carno!

I killed an Alpha that was to close to my base ( I must give some of the credit to my argy who the the killing I just harvested the body to get the prime meat)

I used a bola and loaded the sucker with Raw Prime, honestly try it if you have extra RPM

Get a bola in your main and a primitive bow loaded with tranq arrows. Start winding up bola when you see a lone raptor and get closer until it notices you and starts running towards you. When it gets close, bola it. Two or more tranqs to the head later its out. (Remember to aim for the head, its more efficient.) Give it some meat and you got yourself a raptor.
