In the ark mobile revamp, they don’t pounce anymore. Or so I’ve experienced. I don’t know if that changes when they get the pack buff, though.

Also, the tek raptors don’t count. I’ve been pounced by solo tek raptors for some reason.😭

Honestly I use raptors for taming rexes and spinos but that's probs bc I can level health up by 1 and goes up by

Honestly it's pretty easy to tame this thing.

Bow & tranq arrows

Find a raptor.

When you see it check if there is any hight ground near or not.

If there is high ground near the raptor go there and use the tranq arrows.

DO NOT accidentally fall or something. These things are very dangerous

These are possibly one of the best games in the game (I’m not saying as in its as powerful as a giga but it’s easy to tame and useful for killing dinos) The pounce attack it noice, and you can kill off every carbo and trike on a beach with one of these things. These guys are part of the reason why you should always, ALWAYS have at least 3 bolas on you at ALL TIMES.

The Rats of The Island.

These guys have ZERO CHILL.They will attack anything and everything,even if they are losing health.I once saw a raptor battle a Diplo,and when it got knocked back,it NSTANTLY targeted me.If you don’t want a deathwish,do not under any circumstances,get in the vision of these guys.A bow is most effective as it’s the type of thing that can bust someone.

For taming,use Prime or Raw Meat.It’ll take at least 6 tranq arrows or 21 slingshots to knock it unconscious.I also recommend using a bola to immobilize it and get on a high terrain where it can’t reach you.Also use narcoberries if you need to.

If you are looking for a raptor go to mountains or the red woods mountain they swarm the hole mountain after killing a few you can find a good level

I tame these dinos so easily If u wanna tame one follow the steps 1.find and bola 2. Knock it out with trank arrows of club 3. Put meat or kibble or prime meat in It’s inventory craft a saddle and get an army 150 or 100 or 1000 or 999999

How to tame a raptor like a pro:

Right first thing I wanna say u can’t make a. trap with door frames bc they are too SKINNY

Right now let’s talk about how to tame em 😃

Step one:make tones of bola’s(about six idk)

Step two: go get some meat for primy works best but you can also use normal meat

Step three: Go locate A raptor and also watch your back and bola it up

Step four: Knock it out with fists or a club or Tranq arrows your choice

Step five : So this is the final step feed is meat or prime meat depends on the level it might wake up so put some narco berries in there as well when it wakes up boom you have a raptor

Its ez to tame or kill these guys just bola him and smack em in the butt cheeks Then you can knock em out or tame em i lreand this form my brother cause he already tamed a raptor :)

Did you know that if you leap onto a Moschops (and maybe other creatures) they will flip onto their back and you have them pinned for a certain amount of time? I didn’t.

If your a beginner do NOT try to fight an entire pack of raptors of you will die try to pick them off one by one.

Alpha’s are near immortal watched it take down two steggos a carno and two trikes i was also shooting with with a rifle and tranqs

These guys are easy to tame and are great use a bola and a slingshot or trank arrows even a bat for a low level raptor is just use raw meat
