I managed to tame a level 24 raptor by shooting it once with a dart

Try a bolla to make it stuck and then knock it out tame it with me or prime meat it doesn’t care and then you have a super op tame my one’s name is super raptor

There useful for lots of stuff... hunting, protection, killing aggressive dinos around your base or you have spike walls and there's a neutral dino around you base that's a brontosaurus or a pair of high lvl therizinosaurus ... they have good health after lvl 35 and can do great damage.. they do 1-3 hits a second cause of there amazing attack speed and if you have a pack of em then just go out and kill strong high lvl dinos or alpha raptors and carnos

I was running around, then I see ‘You have entered a dangerous area’ and I thought it was just another there but it turned out to be an alpha raptor when I saw a bunch of dead trikes around.

Heres what my 3 man tribe did pm the island...coords, 77.1, 65..built a gated base on the river (behemoth gates), theres an alpha raptor spawn nearby, often two or three of them around base all the time, great xp and loot...but you CANNOT TAME ALPHAS. but you can use doorframes and another behemoth gate to build a taming pen off your perimeter wall, works great, lead something in (like a raptor), it cant fit thru doorframes, tranq and tame, open the inside gate when complete and walk it into base

The babies are incredibly small, don’t loose em!

Here’s a better chance and not much of a arrow waste use crossbow and shoot them at the head it makes it faster to make it asleep

I have killed 30 low level raptors and still can't find a good level 145

They can escape a trap made of doors on Ascended. I didn’t see how (I’m guessing they fit through the door space now) but I dropped one in a taming box made of doors 3 high and was parking my Argy when I heard all this commotion and he was going nuts on my tames I had set to Passive.

It’s cool in switch save ur game in ark when I lost a pack of tamed raptor to a theriz I restart and replay ark all m7 save was back thank you wildcard for updating ark Nintendo switch

Don’t leave your door open last time this happened to me I died after getting a lot of meat.

Raptors are some what hard and easy to tame due to being in packs or surrounded by other creatures that might aggro on it or you, or it will Arggo on the creature itself and might get killed in the process. Craft some bolas to trap it, have tranq arrows or a club if you cant get darts or other knock out weapons or creatures, and meat suggesting prime meat, mutton (both are good raw or cooked).

Good early game tame if its high level, bola it, shoot its head with tranquilizer arrows, and give it prime. And tamed

I had a beautiful raptor that I used to kill a raptor and even a terivino he was a level 125 but when I ran into a carno I got killed emidiatly but my raptor killed him and I never found him again because he had wondering on

Ez way to tame raptors✨

1. GET BOLAS I promise it’s so easy with bolas

2. Bola it… duh

3. Hit with tranq arrows/ boomerang etc.

4. Meat.

5. Now u have a raptor well done

When taming these things make sure to beware that it’s pack isn’t around because if it’s pack is around and figures out it’s friend is knocked out it will start to come after you. Also these things dont have a lot of weight so make sure to level them up on weight.
