This guy is needed for taming the desert titan. Build a small house around yourself in order to not get knocked off by the flock, and then fly under the corrupt nodules with the quetzal so the lightning destroys the corruption. Make sure your quetzal is high level and has a lot of health though because titans deal a lot of damage! Hope this helps those aspiring to get a massive flying aircraft carrier!

If you place a rocket turret or minigun turret you can wreck havoc on your enemys stay high up though they might have turrets or plant species x

If you are using this to tame a Titano, put some foundations down, make it as large as possible using roofs, and make the area under any cannons on a second level. Trust me, if you don’t, it’ll put its head in front of the cannons.

Y’all saying that the quetzal is slow but mine had like a 160% speed and was able to out fly a tapejara and someone said that they’re faster on mobile so that kinda explains why, now my quetzal has 203% speed with a scarf giving 20% more speed making it 243% speed😏

If you need to move your stryder around as you can't cryo them, tame a quetzal and build a ramp onto its back then you can walk the stryder up and move it wherever you want.(This is helpful for farming if you don't have a skiff)Just use a quetzal instead.

You might be able to put a industrial forge on the quetzal so it's easy smelting

Get a platform saddle and a tek Force field and build on its back and place turrets so when people try to kill the quetzal while your offline the turrets will kill the or knock the off their tames

Believe it or not a Quetzal can pick up any creature that you can fit on its back. We built a platform on its back and managed to fly a Giganotosaraus back to our camp

If u wana tame it just dont he will die in less than 20min good luck crying and breaking ur device after u spent 2h taming/finding just to look being killed by rex/trike or agventatis

It’s long winded but here goes tame a pteredon, build a massive trap, catch and tame a griffin. Now go get that quetzal. You can shoot off the griffin’s back no need for buddy or platform quetzal trap

Easiest way alone is to close distance with a flyer and use a crossbow with hooks to attach to the quetz then whatever weapon to knock it.

On the platform saddle place a bed and a teleporter (if mod is added), so that you can't lose it and can respawn on it and also same with teleporter
