Here is how tô tame a quetz(I'm mobile), If you have flyer symbiote( i think thats the name, idk, its a meganeura that makes you glide and avoid fall damage) use It then jump of you flyer( while on land set It to follow previously) grab with Hook It and gjrn start TO KILLING, yea kill the quetz then revive It in a revival platform inside a trap the KO It, and use your balm and Kibble or you can sleep before, its a bug that SMASH DOWN the wild creatures food If they are awake, the tame and put the saddle from the Hunt: argentavis( needs fabricated rifle engram), i guess health, speed , weight and stamina are the best stats tô level

O Real problema do quetzel é domar o primeiro depois é mais simples basta fazer uma armadilha de quetzel claro se você já tiver a sela plataforma

Lure them into a trap with rare flowers and a flying creature that either can outrun it or is faster than the quetzal

They usually spawn around red obelisk (on mobile). Use the tall rocks around the obelisk to your advantage, landing on them and shooting your darts/tranq.arrows from firm land. Bring about 5 to 6 parachutes too in case he flies away too far from the tall rocks and hills shooting range and you have to fly all the way over him and dismount. Be advised tho, when you're falling with the parachute, you need to aim rather carefully so you don't waste too much ammo.

Once it falls, be ready to fill it with meat and narcs. Having a quick-crafted mortar could prove very useful to maintain the beast asleep as you continuisly seek berries and craft more narcs. If available, a soothing balm can help tame it a lot faster.

Easiest way is to tame one in mobile is :

1 find a high

2 kill it

3 get the implant

4 build a trap in a revival platform

5 resurrect it with amber /just watch adds

6 knock and tame

Get a pt let a tribe mate grab you (or other way around) follow it and tranq it and enjoy your quetz

I’m sure if your like me and you’re reading these you’re like “this sounds very complicated.” it is. If your on a map with griffins just use two people and the guy on the back will shoot the quetz. If your not on a map with griffins then used and arge to pick up your teammate and go through the pain of constantly yelling at him to stop hitting the god damn arge. Have fun!

For solo taming on ragnarock, step one tame a griffin, then find a Quetzal, then attempt to knock it out with either tranq arrows or darts. Make sure you kite the Quetzal away from any hazards such as the volcano lava or any Dinos that can kill it on the ground.

you can use tapejara go follow high because tapejara has 3 sit you can whistle sttack and you can trank it

Bruh get a argy and a horse grab the horse on the argy let the horse kick it

If you’re looking to tame your second quetzal I recommend building a trap/taming pen on the first one. This way once you get the quetzal trapped in the air, just knock it out for a safe and easy tame. (Bring another flyer like an argentavis just in case you need more supply meat)

I found another 10 quetzels near the red obelisk. To tame u can have a friend ride the tape Jara with u and shoot it. Or kill and revive inside a trap it has to be big enough ot it will glicht out of the trap talking from own experience.

I don’t know if this is just me, but I always find at least two of these guys lurking around the beaches near the red ob, hope this helps :)

Probable the best way to tame this dino alone an with low lvl (on ark mobile)

1 Tame a flyer(al flyers can be usted)

2 Get a saddlw forma tour flyer

3 Tame a pulmonoscorpius

4 Ride tour flyer tame your pulmonoscorpius and go to find a qezal

put your pulmonoscorpius un agresive and go near the qzal justo follow it until ir gets K.O. than feed it and tame it

On crystal isles (43.7/76.7) the floating islands biome you can find them flying straight into a cliff. Build a thatch house around it and go to town

These thing are so hard to tame

1 get a Griffin

1 traq it while riding the Griffin

3 feed it that's it simple

Kind of a long process but worth it.

Tame a griffin, shoot tranqs from griffin, knock Quetzal.

Tame Quetz and put all points into Stamina. Make trap on platform made of thatch. Lead the wild Quetz on the trap you made and just chill mid air as you knock and starve the wild Quetz. EZ PZ cause that’s what I’m doing as I type this.

Best way to tame one of them as solo its on a griffin (You can shoot while ur mounting one)
