It happened just today, I just got level 55 and I immediately crafted a Tapejara Saddle, my Tapejara was patiently waiting for me to ride it since level 30+. My starter base was located near the red obelisk. My first flight with the Tapejara we encountered a High Level Quetz just above my base, hours passed and I tamed it with the Tapejara method, now the Quetz is patiently waiting for me to level up, so that I can ride him. I named him "Skull" cause of black body and white face.

Ark flipping hates me,I find a quetzal finally after 4 hours,I yeet my war dodos (I low key cried a bit when doing this),then I tame a tape to tame it…it knocks out,I’m happy as hell then what happens? Terror bird lvl 1.I will now kill every terror bird I see in revenge.

After looking for sooo many days I finally found my very first Quetzal, and it was a Tek Quetzal too! I used my Tapejara to help me tame it, and when I finally knocked it out it landed right on top of an alpha raptor 😐😭 now I have to look for another one...

I was on island map and I wanted a flying house so I wanted a quetz bad I couldn’t get it knocked out though so I went to the red obselisk and made a fort with a ballista turret I filled it up with chain bolas and waited for one and I never seen one again

Update on #Strawberry! I tamed a new quetzal that looks JUST like her and is a girl. She is a level 13. We will do everything together. Still, pray to Strawberry!

R.I.P Strawberry the quetzal. After tamed, I put it on passive then was shortly killed by a raptor. I still have her gravestone to this day and a tapejara with her name. Like or comment #Strawberry! if you think I will get another quetzal.

Jaws of the Crocodile- Chapter 5

A raid. Nox had never witnessed a raid before. He had always been a wild creature, never a member of a tribe. But he was used to battle. He and Cutter struck down a Rex as Pouncer went for the raptors.

“Who are we being raided by?” Jenny asked Chiron.

“Ocean Hawks.” Responded Chiron with contempt. “From the Western Coast.”

The Ocean Hawks continued to attack, but strong things dwell on mountains. The tribe’s griffins and gigas managed to fend them off.

“I’m coming too.” Said Chiron the next day. “My son Kiram will do well as the chief.”

“Great.” Said Kai. The kapros were already sound asleep on Sunny’s saddle, and the humans climbed aboard after them.

They were heading north.

Jaws of the Crocodile: Chapter 4

“So, where are you from?” The tribes leader asked. He was named Chiron, and he was a grizzly old man with an eye patch.

Kai didn’t answer. He was too busy staring out the window at a tamed giga who was trying to interact with the kapros, who were running for their lives.

“He is spreading the legacy of some heroic kapro.” Said Jenny.

“I see.” Said Chiron. “We will lend you a procoptodon. They are our finest-bred mounts.”

“I’ll come too.” Said Jenny. “Our tribe is quite good at negotiations.”

Upon hearing this, Kai nodded his head happily. Unfortunately, an explosion rocked the volcano tribe’s village.

“Were being raided!” Yelled Chiron. “Everyone, fight them off!”

Argentavis swooped through the air. Jenny jumped on her griffin and took them down. But the ground force was more devastating. Rexes and raptors ran amok, and the kapros began to fend them off. Kai joined the fight atop one of his bears, and Chiron mounted an equus.

The kapros were again in the midst of battle.
