How do you guys get the guetzal

This big bird spawns by the red floating thing in the sky because I have lots of pictures of me seeing it and I am not lying

A guy destroyed all my progress I had on my raft and used a freaking quetzal to kill all my stuff while I was AFK. What??? They’re probably probably so dumb they don’t realize that they get NOTHING from this. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM THIS. Wait I think I explained the whole point of PVX zone, uh,

I saw one but didn’t have the stuff for tame so I had to leave behind rip ):

Thank to the pursuit:"tame a Quetzal"(mobile) i have managed to uncover alot of Quetzal spawn locations on the island map

-one at the red obelisk

-one at the curve looking island south of the red obelisk

-one directly at the blue obelisk

-one near east of the snow mountain(the one that have no obelisk)

-one at the waterfall west of the volcano

-one near a waterfall to the south-west of the volcano

-one to the south next to the mountain east of the volcano

-one next to the mountain north-east of the volcano(not the snow one)

-one at the part where small river fuse into one, east of the volcano(not the one near red wood)

-one at the green obelisk

-one near north of the obelisk

I did managed to find couple of quetzal spawning at some of those location and killed them (cuz they low level)

Everytime a quetzal spawn it alway spawn a little above the ground and fly away so be sure to search below first

Also for those mobiler wondering, you need to be lv 77 and had already completed pursuit "tame a bronto" to unlock this pursuit

On ragnarok, find the castle ruin in front of the blue obelisk near viking bay, fly around there and you will find them. I have found three here.

I do the grapple to your argy Methed then it falls by giga so I kill the giga like I always do with spinos and rexes beacause it’s easy with flying mount but this dude had lots of health so the quetzal woke up before I finished the fight

NOW I CANT FIND ANY QUETZALS AND I NEED ONE!!!

Me: sees quetz flying super close to the ground

Me: NOOOOO I HAVE NOTHING TO TAME IT WITH!!

Killed a lvl18 hopping a higher lvl will spawn. Biggest mistake of my career, haven’t seen one in days. As I currently write this I’m on the third hour of searching. Wish me luck!!

When looking for these all I find are tepejaras

Have a saddle for one. But I never seen one. Where do I find em? I looked all over even at the flight limit and I was only eaten by a giga twice. Losing 1200 bio toxin I been saving for giga and quetzal

Shoot a dodo arrow and shoot tranqs, It will statt running away when it’s close to being knocked out so have your mount ready

Go to the island where you collect pearls near the red beacon and fly at a certain height and a quetzal will spawn and for me it will spawn if you face the ocean

i once found a quetzal near the red obelisk but i left it alone because my level was too low to knock it out...when i reached lvl 63 everytime i go to red obelisk i dont see any quetzal.. is that because i left the first quetzal alone? or its a bug? please someone help me with it tip and thank you!

They said there can only be one quetzal spawning on the Red Beacon but last time I saw TWO quetzals flying in the same area
