Net gun the quetz Out of the Air and than make a Gate Trap around hin so he cant escape

I would recommend grappling on to argy if your solo or having a friend pull while you shoot. If you have a griffin then I would just shoot from it’s back you don’t even need to be in passenger seat

If you have a tribemate or partner you could tell him to grab you and you can shoot the quetzal while you’re partner is driving( you have to have a pteranodon or higher flying tame )

It's been 4 days since I wistle my argie (lvl 163) to attack that *#$;$\ cause I was thinking I shooted it whit my grappler to try and tame the quetzal but it juste flew away whitout me and since then i haven't seen him anywhere...

You can actually put platforms on them and bring T-Rex if you want the fast travel fun right!?

Equip with platform saddle and turrets. Also have beds and a metal structure on platform saddle. Have all of your tribemates jump of with parachutes and rifles and BOOM! Call Of Duty

If you have a platform saddle and some deinonychus you can use them as paratroopers.

Often spawns at the world origin point (0,0) on the island, also around the green obelisk. CAN be chain bola'd although the options for doing this are somewhat sketchy. To solo tame you will either need to goad it into a trap as it flees, use a tapejara and dismount into the second saddle, or ride a paraceretherium or bronto w/ ballista turret attached up the mountain to try and trap it that way. You can also grappling hook onto a slow flyer like argentavis and shoot it with tranqdarts that way!

These guys don’t gain stamina when you are on its platform so get any flyer on the back of it and instead of landing it just fly off it until it regens

If you have Rhynio, you can shoot Quetzal and knocked out it while riding Rhynio.

Or drop some honey to lure Quetzal to the land and then set trap.

1. Use a flyer that let's you shoot while riding.

2. Use Harpoon with net and net it over land.

3. Knock it out with equus while netted.

4. Use desmo potion for 30% tame and feed it prime, gg.

How to tame a quetzal...

THE FUN WAY

1. Grab your low level flyer, a parachute and a netgun

2. Lure the quetzal to a titano

3. Get ready

4. Drink your gamersupps

5. Crack your knuckles

6. Do some pushups

7. Begin

8. Jump off your animal and netgun the quetzal 360° noscope

9. Parachute while falling off your low level flyer

10. Whistle your flyer "attack target" on the titano

11. While your flyer is fighting, stab your quetzal with weird funny green arrows that you found from a dead raptor

12. Once the quetzal is knocked out, check on your low level flyer, the flyer is dead, harvest your friends dead body

13. Put your dead friend in the quetzal

14. You have tamed a quetzal...

THE FUN WAY

If you use a tapejara to follow and knock out the quetzal you have to whistle follow or else when you switch seats you’ll descend instead of staying in the air

Get 3000 stamina and you can fly across the map like 5 times with this

These just got easier to tame they can be shot down with the net and knocked out 👍

If your on ark mobile like me you really need to wait untill you complete hunt argentavis or argie pursuit. All you need to do is kill 8 argies...

I thought the reward would be something like a gun blueprint but it was a quetzal or quetz saddle (journeyman) so anyways you might want to have a tape to tame it idk, have a good day!

A lot of quetzals spawn at red and if you are looking for a high level, kill the low levels and leave a certain distance. repeat until you find what you are looking for! Use a catcher, it makes it a million times easier!

Put a ladder in your base. When on it, even on flight, your quetz will gain stam

There are multiple designs and point progressions for quetzals. You could have a work quetz with weight and stamina, a quetzal trap with stamina and speed, or a battle quetz with health. Pick wisely and good luck survivors!
