In mobile, the obelisk resurrect strategy works very well. Rex kibble works EXTREMELY WELL!

Taming a quetzal with an argentavis can be easy to tame the quetzal, it may also work on all devices, vote if you agree

How I solo tamed it with no quetzals: Got on my platform saddle bronto got my pachy on a cliff dropped it onto it set them both to passive went up a mountain (bring sweet veg cakes bronto slips and falls a lot. A LOT. Mine only didn’t die because I had some spare vegan bois in the back (achatinas I had for cm on obsidian runs) had plenty of em tho. Next get on pachy at highest point and start Aggro misting. Kill anything that’s not a quetz. If you don’t want that lv or gender quetz then kill it log out go online walk down the mountain (not with ur tames just use a pteranodon so u can not take fall damage get gangbanged by allos or have a bumpy ride)then come back up and more will be there then repeat until correct quetz and knock it on ur saddle. Tame it set it on wandering passive go back to home base with ur bronto and pachy and req it. BOOM. My second method is somewhere in these tips you’ll have to find it. It’s super easy if u have a quetz. Not enuff room to type any more srry!

Royal griffin is best for taming this because the driver can use weapons.

Tamed a max level quetzal with cooked fish on an official server, I now know how to waste 34 hours.

I recommend hopping on a procoptodon super high and chain bola in git and just tranc from the ground

Why does nobody realize the easiest way to tame this is to slap a ballista turret with a chain bola on a paracer and knock it out of the sky

If you are using grapple and parachute method u should use an argy. With another quetzal and a ptera u sometimes ungrapple if this happens to you with an argy to then get grapple very close to the argy preferably as close as you can

I had tek armor and it was pretty easy to knock out

Run and gun shocking darts in their heads

Best taming strategy: grapple to your mates’ argentavis and shoot at it with your crossbow’s tranq arrows

Tame quetz with a quetz trap on a nother quetz

So u should have some grapples and tranq darts and spy glass. Jump off of bird and grapple on real quick. Then shoot the quetzal. Then tell ur bird to follow the quetzal since it flys away but don’t real in stay on ur bird grappled and then start shooting it again until all ur hard work pays off and it’s knocked out. Btw u need to use spy glass to tell ur bird to go at him from farther away.

So to tame it you have to grapple on a argy and then follow it and hit it with darts. I would not recommend useing arrows because you could damage the quetz. Then from there you should know the basics. :)

Freeze it with a snow owl then when it falls trap it with Dino gates

On mobile it should only take about 25 hits with either trank darts or the shocking trank darts i recemend to use shocking because those do more torpor damage so yeh hope this helps ya!

Ok there main spawn points are at the red ob, green on and that beach with the cave on it. GO FOR THE BEACH POINT cuz if you go for red ob they will fly straight to 50-50 witch is a terrible place for it to go down. Carnos, terror birds, dire bears, and kapros.

Idk why but my lvl 45 Quetz took only 5-7 Darts

To solo tame first build a 6x6 trap at the tribute terminal(obelisk) make it 4 wall high use door frames. Then use a flying dino and bring 2 pteranodon with you, then hunt one if you found one order your pteranodon to kill it make sure to turn off their loot victim so the dead quetzal doesn't disappear, if they kill it take its life artifact and bring it to the tribute terminal and it should be trapped in there and knock it out and tame

This is a very annoying dino yo tame but the easiest way to do it is not by hanging to any dino u will hit it but it will not affect it the easiest way to do it is to trap it anyway u can think of
