Just use a revival platform in a huge house easy it won’t fly away, build house out of stone

Today I learned that In ASA. You CANNOT place cryoFridge on the platform saddle. It will say “requires placement on floor”

You can still put Normal fridges and and power generators on it. But you can’t place cryofridge. Even if you place a foundation on the saddle. Man they REALLY nerfed Cryopods in this game, huh?

If on ragnorock you can lead to the snow biom and it should be lower to the ground then if you can jump on its back and shoot it like crazy with tranq darts it’ll knock out and you’ll have yourself a quetzal (mine got stuck on a rock)

if your tapejara is too fast you can weigh it down w metal, stone, or its heavy azz saddle! (just dont weigh it to much or it will be way too slow..)

Do the pursuit Thin Air, it gives an Ascendant Tapejara saddle with can be used to easily tame a quetzal. Hope this Helps 😊👍🏻

*CREEPY* i finally knocked out a quetzal just now and i heard something creepy… i was on single player and i heard someone die…

If you plan on to revive a quetzal, make sure to have 40 to 50 amber

Everyone uses tapejaras, but real men stand on top of a griffin on aggro 🥹

Get a tapajara and target it. Get your tranq darts and start shooting it. Then feed it prime meet and you have yourself a quetzal

I know two ways to get this first is get on a tape with a friend/ally have them follow the quetz while you shoot it with tranqs option 2 is to go on any flyer jump off and grapple on to it and shoot with tranqs

You can either use three tactics:

1: if u have an argy level it's speed up to 120+ and grapple

2: sit on the passenger seat and shoot it darts until knocked

3: the easiest way is getting a griffin since u can use weapons on em

Use a balm and rex kibble, exceptional kibble or mutton for taming and bring bio toxins

Gen2 taming quetzals are easy . Fly above them with a tech suit And longneck and hope they don’t land in water

Whenever you need biotoxin to keep a creature with a particularly speedy torpor drain unconscious, these guys can make farming cnidaria much easier, as due to their long neck, they can reach their beak into the water without having to get too close to it, or running the risk of getting attacked and electrocuted/stunned by a successful attack, all while remaining in the air.

Of course Spinos are another way to do this, but taming a Spino is it’s own whole ‘nother ball game, which can even be more dangerous than taming a Quetzal under the right circumstances.

And thats not even mentioning you need to hoard a lot of fish meat which can be dangerous (megalodon are the best and most common fish meat source but also the toughest in terms of the common ones), and a whole bunch of other stuff, meanwhile Quetzals are a much more simple taming process once you have the right mount, equipment (ascendant bow rivals longneck with tranq darts as torpor scales with damage) and are good at it.

So if you need to hord biotoxin for some reason, tame a Quetzal if it is within your capability to do so (which it should be if you are a particularly high level player)

If you got a big brain like some youtubers use a tapejara or a griffin since you can whistle agro on a quetz in the passenger seat. Then get dem tranqs are start shooting it tell its nocked. If its in a dangerous area put metal or wood spikes around it deppending on the area.

If the quetz knock out in the water just use a horse and a load so to get it out up so more quetzals don’t die

The narcotics needed isn’t true bring extra just in case

I really recommend killing the Quetzel grabbing it’s in plant and reviving it at a revival platform but make a trap around the revival platform then it’s super easy to tame it this only works for mobile though

Get a griffin and tranq it out off the back of it
