Fun fact:u can do more dmg without it being imprinted, all u gotta do is get the spyglass in ur hotbar, mount ur dino and then, attack a wild dino and perfectly timing using the spyglass, this is actually maybe a bug where it shows that the spyglass is way stronger (with a mount). It actually works on every dino (if they're saddled and tamed), so u can use this to either level ur dino faster or whatever u want to do with this tip. Make sure to use it tho!

Pump stam and weight or it won’t fly well.

Every first level stam every second weight.

Tame one of these because they move you around the map quickly plus they have a boost of speed to get away from dinos but it takes a lot of stamina.

my guy sigma is my favourite tame. he is level 135 atm and he has great stamina and weight. if you take the time to level up these guys they are great tames.

I use pt for everything even when I’m given better flying options I still use a pt always my first tame if I’m able to tame it easy saddle, fast, and is on almost every map. easy knock out tame throw a bola at it then knock it out with club, slingshot, bow, crossbow whatever. feed prime meat if ur early game, Prioritise leveling up weight and stamina. Boom theres ur pt easily dies and takes forever to level up its weight but it’s fast and great for early game pvp/pve

Not recommended against gigas. The spyglass barrel roll strategy (more info in the popular tips that were a great help to me btw) works well but with one fatal flaw: It's a TWO-WAY damage amplifier. Meaning the giga's attack, If it lands on you, deals much more damage than normal as well. Meaning one hit on a 1500 health ptera with journeyman saddle left my ptera with less than 500 health. So, yeah. Too much risk involved. Good for rexes and maybe alphas but not gigas. I would advise combing the allos strategy with the ptera roll. Let the allos bleed the gigs down first before going for the kill with the ptera. Also compensates for the annoying fact that if the giga dies to allo bleeding it might not give xp. Needs testing but i think it'll work.

Basic first flyer. Gets you from A to B pretty quick though it uses a bunch of stamina. 7/10 ARK points👍

I would suggest having multiple pteranodons for different jobs like farming or combat due to their stats. They are a easy tame and pretty common so it's not hard to get many.

The usual choice for your first flier. Once you get one of these you can more easily explore the island. I use them for expeditions from the safe southern islets to obsidian and crystal rich mountains up north. Just watch their stamina, you don't want to be forced to land in the middle of a war zone.

Stam is a must and probably most important remember this tame was implemented for a scout not an aplha killer was fun wile it lasted...add weight if needed.

To the person who is asking how to pick up small dinos on mobile, just seipe up the moment you get close to the small creature you want to pick up

If your pte accidently stuck in the sky you can request it without losing any items. I dont know if this works with other flying creatures. Sorry for my grammar.

It should be able to have 220 base stamina, that’s reasonable and it would make stamina leveling less of a pain.

For noobs to get obsidian, metal and other better resources and dinos I recommend going to the snow biome as soon as you can fly on one of these. This is what I did and now I have an infinite supply of metal and obsidian but tame an argy and otter first then pump otter dmg and wear it so not to get hypothermia.

I recommend bringing more than one high level Rex or spino just in case.

Breed, imprint, level, and pump into weight, speed and stam and you can fly half the map before running out of stamina in 1 minute

I highly recommend using a flyer (like this one) to complete the “Hunt Terror Bird” pursuit cause it’s pretty dangerous In the red woods
