I recommend taming up one of these. A high level one is really fast for flying.

All you need is a bola and a bow.

Bola the flying reptile, and shoot it until its unconscious.

When it does, I recommend giving it Raw Prime Meat.

Then just wait untill it's tamed. Remember to give it

narcotics, or it'll wake up!

These things used to be awesome till the most recent patch. Now they are pretty much just a scout bird... 145 with just 170 carry weight is ridiculous... Get ready to invest alot of points into just weight and stamina cuz they pretty much have none now

It was more kibble then what it says for a lvl 135.

Another easy way to get one is to build a big enough wall by your base and hope one flys into it. They will stay in the air stuck on your wall until you bola it. You can build a ceiling on top of it to provent it from taking off or a small hut so it can't get away. Two downsides, if it gets away, it flys straight up the wall quick and once down it can be seen and kill on the other side of the wall. I tamed a pteranodon level 145 with dodo kibble and narcodics. How come my efficiency went down to 20%? Anybody have an idea why?

All you need to do is bola them and knock em out then tame them with dodo kibble, prime meat, or raw meat. Raw meat takes the longest. A good tip contains more words

You can use simple kibble to tame it faster and it only takes like 3 narcotics

Simple kibble: two rockatrots, one cocked fish meat, five megos and five fiber and one full waterskin.

Oh and always tranq it in the head.

Easiest way to tame is find a pteranodon egg (fertilised) put it near a few fires, imprint it, wait for adulthood, make a saddle put on the saddle and ride it WARNING right when you ride it it starts flying so whistle land flyer twice and it lands

Taming them with normal meat is possible u just need 6 nitro. I have created an army of 10 doing this. It may take lvls or add mines never taken

The Stam on these things aren’t great at all. Watch out for it and don’t use it as your main flyer... unless you want to make your entire life difficult.

Perfect way to tame

First you craft 15 tranq arrows. When you notice that the Pteranodon is flying in one direction, shoot a little bit past it. Crossbow required.

Then you make sure that you came with 100 Raw Meat or 75 Raw Meat and 25 Raw Prime Meat. If you don't, put a hold on the mission.

Don't feed!!!!! If you feed, it starts the taming process all over again.

Then you put your Meat in the Pteranodon and craft Narcotic at the Mortor and Pestle. Then you craft a Pteranodon Saddle or you gather the Keratin by killing stegosaurus before the PteraTame.

Feed the Pteranodon Narcotic if the Torpor gets too low.

Enjoy your Pteranodon. Remember that if the Tip was helpful, hit the green arrow.

Dont be impatient and waste balm, just make some dodo kibble. It's not that hard. Also ya might wanna grab a few narcotics.

Supa easy tame, just bola it then hit some then bola again, repeat until knocked out then feed it some dodo kibble, RAW mutton or RAW prime meat and some narcotics, BOOM, pteranodon
