On official a 150 took about 2.5 hours at 2x gaming and took around 4 narcotic arrows, 1 bola, about 60 meat, and about 30 narcos.

It only takes one hit with a trank arrow if it is level 5 pr lower then get you club and keep hitting it every time their consigns goes down to much only hit them one or two times it all ways works for me

Coming here to complained because it just happened to me for the fourth time. Never, ever, hit anything if you’re standing next to ur unconscious pteranodon while taming. It kills it for some reason even if u never even touched it. I’m so annoyed.

THESE ARE SO HARD TO GET! Well not if you have the right tools, other ppl get the right tools!

Another easy way to get one is to build a big enough wall by your base and hope one flys into it. They will stay in the air stuck on your wall until you bola it. You can build a ceiling on top of it to provent it from taking off or a small hut so it can't get away. Two downsides, if it gets away, it flys straight up the wall quick and once down it can be seen and kill on the other side of the wall. Please like if this helps because I've gotten a flew other birds this way. Thanks.

I tamed a pteranodon level 145 with dodo kibble and narcodics. How come my efficiency went down to 20%? Anybody have an idea why?

Make sure you get your self a sexy ptera

You just have to use tranq arrows to knock out, give it meat (of your choice) or kibble, then wait (while waiting maybe make ptero saddle?) and enjoy the beast. WARNING: Do NOT go into redwood forest with him, mine died in five minutes because of dumb terror birds. Anyway, then use it to get argy and use argy for killing stuff and ptero for fast flying and travel.
