Eat rare flowers (have armor on cuz you're going to get hit) fly,ride or run to a safe location and bola it while it tries to attack you. Easiest way to tame a ptera and it won't get hit so you can kibble tame and not worry about it getting hit.

Spawn on ragnarok in highlands, make a slingshot and knock out a low level trike. Once tamed farm up 50/70 narcotic and ko a level 130+ pter. Starve and feed mutton, it is nearly as good as kibble.

Go to herb island for a quick first ptera on the server pteras spawn there all the time and there are stegos and brontos all the over the place for prime meat

Find one that's on the ground then use the bola on it and club it in the head in il you knock it out the give it meat and keep harvesting narco berries and meat for it until it's tamed

If you use raw poultry its effectiveness is between raw prime and cooked prime. It's easy to tame this way because of an abundance of dodos

Try to get one that has high melee and stamina. Focus on those two and a bit of weight. The spin attack is extremely strong but costs a good amount of stamina. Hope this helps

Torpor drains extremely fast, keep an eye on taming pteras at all times.

One of the easier tames to start breeding. With a little luck and a few hours you can easily get lvl 300+ pteras with a ton of mele

If ur in early game, try tame a few female dodos and 1 male. farm their eggs and make kibble. then tame ur first(decent level) ptera and go on with life

If wanna find a high level pteranodon and only find low level? Kill the low level pteranodons, so that new ones can spawn!

Best levels are on the center. Don't even worry about trying to tame with meat or even prime always kibble. You'll get a 200+ if you do it right.

Definitly use a bola then tranq it and since it uses dodo kibble (wich is incredibly easy to get) its a super eaey tame and very useful at high lvls though low lvls kinda suck.

Best if u bola it then knock it out however u want but not fist it will probably die anyway do not wast tranqu darts u could even bat it depending on the level
