First craft bola and double tap and hold bola and throw and max to max you have 4 bola and knock with bola and feed 4 dodo kibble to craft dodo kibble first craft cooking pot and put in inventorie put 4 mejoberrys and 1 raw carrot raw carrot found in jungle Fern and fibers and 1 dodo egg or 2 meat or fill water skin and some woods and craft dodo kibble and feed to peternadon and you have a peternadon

when you get the level for a bola, craft one and the time should be enough for a ptero around at level 100 to knock it out just with fists. aim for the head

The easiest way to tame:

1. Get bio-toxin and meat

2. Find a Pteranodon

3. Bola it and then punch it until it is knocked out

4. Place meat and bio-toxin in its inventory and feed it the bio-toxin whenever needed

(Bio-toxin is achieved from killing jellyfish)

Short tip dont steal its eggs and to tame bola punches and dodo kibble and be patient bcuz it is gonna take a long time

On mobile trying to tame one of these at any level and it won't go past 10.7%. I just manage it with narcotics and real meat. I have done this to 5 different pteranadon's. They eventually leave after I run out of meat and narcotics. So frustrating!

Umm, why can’t you shoot of a Pterodon

My friend tamed a level 4 pteranodon on causal easy singleplayer.

It needed 6 meat opposed to the 3 dododex says…

One of the worst tames you can make.As much as you upgrade it's stamina it won't take long to run out. And when it does it just lands whenever it cans. Hostile or not. Today my useless pteranodon with 63 levels on him landed to rest on a mountain full of Argies and Savertooths. And by the time I tried to run from them. He didn't regenerate until a puck of Raptors joined the club. So.. no not worth the metal of the saddle OR the taming. Waste of time. It's only advantage is that flies. For small time.

Best and easy tame good for first flyers use soothing balm for to tame high lvls and faster use dodo kibble easy to make

If you get stuck between their wings while taming, just eat some narcotics or log out and log back in. You unconscious body will have rolled out of the spot.

Rember ! They eat meat ! Dont be me and shove berries in their mouth only to lose all the taming effectiveness ! Just a friendly reminder for the beach bobs like me hope this helps

i just tamed a lvl145 ptera using bola and crossbow with tranq arrows(im playing on mobile btw)use 5 dodo egg kibble 1 dodo egg is 20.2% bola the ptera and shoot it in the head 2 times 5 sec.intervals also bring narcotics or the one that the jellyfish drop i forgot what it is called and there you have it brand new ptera

This wasn’t my first fly, one of those moth guys were, it was slow but at least I could run, I hate that they have to wait to fly again.

This is a way to tame pteradon 1.find pteradon

2. Bola it with bola

3. Once bolad punch or bat until uncounsios

4. Feed the recommended foods

5. Enjoy your pteradon

U need a bow , 1 tranq arrow bring a few more in case u miss , at least one bola, and taming food such as meat.

Step 1 Find one u want and equip bola

Step 2 wait til it lands or til u have a good shot

Step 3 Once u get it bola shoot a tranq arrow at the the tip of its head fin because that can knock it out in one shot

Step 4 feed it meat raw meat takes a while to tame so kill a stego for raw prime meat

To the person who had this get away I think it is a new feature so you don't accidentally kill it (Mobil)
