i just tamed a lvl145 ptera using bola and crossbow with tranq arrows(im playing on mobile btw)use 5 dodo egg kibble 1 dodo egg is 20.2% bola the ptera and shoot it in the head 2 times 5 sec.intervals also bring narcotics or the one that the jellyfish drop i forgot what it is called and there you have it brand new ptera

This wasn’t my first fly, one of those moth guys were, it was slow but at least I could run, I hate that they have to wait to fly again.

This is a way to tame pteradon 1.find pteradon

2. Bola it with bola

3. Once bolad punch or bat until uncounsios

4. Feed the recommended foods

5. Enjoy your pteradon

U need a bow , 1 tranq arrow bring a few more in case u miss , at least one bola, and taming food such as meat.

Step 1 Find one u want and equip bola

Step 2 wait til it lands or til u have a good shot

Step 3 Once u get it bola shoot a tranq arrow at the the tip of its head fin because that can knock it out in one shot

Step 4 feed it meat raw meat takes a while to tame so kill a stego for raw prime meat

To the person who had this get away I think it is a new feature so you don't accidentally kill it (Mobil)

Tips to taming pteranodon:

1: use a bola unless you have crossbow and above

2:They are weak to head shots

3:they fly when atacked

4:feed meat

5:saddle is lvl 38

Also you should whistle “stop” to make it not fly everywhere.

They eat fish I think ? Also you can bola it might take you 2 or 3 and 40 percent chances of getting raw prime from titanabowas

So what you want to do is, bola it, and knock it out either by punching/clubbing, or tranquilizing it. Then you want to put your meat of choice in its inventory, (I use raw meat because it’s accessible, cheap, and effective, but you can use prime meat aswell, and I definitely recommend prime meat over raw meat.) Put some narcotics in for it’s not going to eat for a while, and you don’t want your tame to wake up, and have patience. I hope this helped.

If this boi's level is higher than 100, it's torpor meter will go down pretty fast. Make sure to bring narcoberries or narcotics. You can even use biotoxins to increase it's torpor(if u don't have any of the narcostuff).

Get a bola and a club or slingshot if your new

So when you tame one of thes Dino’s you want t to jump on them and then hit them a little with a axe but not to much of thay Weill die and then you can quickly craft a satail and put it on the Dino and you tamed one

These things are very hard to tame 1st you need to be level 30 something so you need a bola, bola it then you need two pieces of prime meat to nock it out you need to use one of those bat things then you have your self a pteranodon happy taming 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈
