I recommend taming dodos and make kibble taming PTEs are easy and cheap if u will work for the kibble

For high levels, bola it so that it doesn't get away. After that just tranq it and feed it raw meat and you have your very own flap flap.

I don’t know if it’s just me but if I try feed him narcoberries while unconscious it will say he’s already consuming that food and it’s really annoying because I can’t get his torpor back up. You can tame a pteranodon by give it 2 dodo kibble and some raw meat.

I tamed a level 415 its great..i love it

quick tip:If you are in Highlands on Rag then chances you might have a horse, a very easy way to knock out PTs is to bola the PT and then use the right click ability on the PT as it applies a good amount of torpor. Up so the bobs can see!!

Make a taming room with dino gate and door. Eat a few rare flowers and fly over the jungle to agro a few pteras. Fly back to room, dismount and enter the room with pteras following. Shut gate, exit door, wait for buff to drop, safely tame at your leisure.

Be careful when u tame it so it doesn't get attacked and fly away

East tame bring bola and raw meat or raw prime meat you won't need too many narcs try to find a high level then pump levels into weight health and stamina

for chitin, get scorpions they give loads

Do not let it get halfway and at least bring like 10 to 12 narcotics with you even if it’s a low level because it will get up when you go back to get narcotics and it’s annoying.

Hello! For people wanting a high level pteranodon, (let’s say 150?) I suggest using a bola then shooting it with tranq arrows. (Tranq darts take too long to reload) give it around 40 or 50 raw meat and keep 20 narcotics in its inventory, If you’re patient you’ll soon have a good flyer!

(Remember to feed it the narcotics when Necessary!!)

If you do not have a bola on you, it always work to pick up an egg and piss off the parents. That’s how I have tamed a couple of my pteras and it works surprisingly well. They don’t fly away after taking so much damage, and they don’t do a lot of damage either as long as you have armour. (It also works to make a doorless hut and punch ‘em or something)
