Kibble is better than meat.Kibble take a few minutes.However,meat takes a hour.

There a great bird I usually tame a 150 with kibble and level it's stamina and health to 2000 then a little movement speed then the rest into melee

I got mine after he got his head stuck in my house railing, so I beat him upside the head with a club while his wife watched in horror! Tame complete and he's a fantastic dinosaur to have.

PS: The wife left him and was later seen being mauled by my Spinosaurus. What a life.

tame a 115 plus and you bird can defend from about anything that's wild other then gigas

If u tame à level 150 plus use 13 kibble and starve HIM. If u got on drop other players dont barrel roll

Must have tame as soon as you get the saddle, it is much needed so that low levels can get metal from the mountains.

for chitin, get scorpions they give loads

Do not let it get halfway and at least bring like 10 to 12 narcotics with you even if it’s a low level because it will get up when you go back to get narcotics and it’s annoying.

Hello! For people wanting a high level pteranodon, (let’s say 150?) I suggest using a bola then shooting it with tranq arrows. (Tranq darts take too long to reload) give it around 40 or 50 raw meat and keep 20 narcotics in its inventory, If you’re patient you’ll soon have a good flyer!

(Remember to feed it the narcotics when Necessary!!)

All you need is a bow and bow lol

Make sure you bring loads of narcs- I tried to tame a lvl 145 but she woke up and I had to restart the taming process.

To tame I have found it way easier to use the bola first of course but a club to knock them out. This is not only easier but faster as well.

Tame one early in although their weight and damage isn’t great to have a speedy flyer is amazing

Step 1: Bola it

Step 2 :Knock it out(I use my fist)

Step 3 : Give it some meat. Prime is faster but you can just use normal meat

Step 4 : Give it some narcotics, especially if you only used normal meat

After that you're done, but you level up its stamina when you get it.
