Always use mutton, I can’t stress this enough it’s so easy to get and completely worth it

For solo players: tame a breeding pair of dodos, grow some rockarrot, make the kibble and tame a high level, its literally the easiest conventional kibble to get

Shoot them with rocket it gives them so much topor they don’t wake up.....ever

when you knock a pteranodon out you need to stave it to the recomended amout of food.after this you want to put the food in the inventory and wait for it to tame but make sure you have spare meat in the birds inventory. this it good for if the kibble runs out you bave back up to not loose taming effecince. PS. this only happens if you are using kibble. thank you for reading i hope this helps in anyway.

I have no idea what ‘starve tame’ is, but this is what I did. Get a bola, throw it at the bird thing, use a baseball bat (club) to knock it out, feed it like 5 dodo kibbles, and take the leftovers.

If it’s low level like 75 and other don’t bother boaling it, just shoot it in the head and get another hit on the body, if your using like a club or a slingshot thought then bola it

Steps:

Use tranq arrows (1 if using crossbow)

Shoot it

Feed meat

Give 1 narcotic after topor goes down to like a 1/4

Seen some of these guys in battle who have 100 percent inprint and max lvl

They can get up to 20k health it's crazy

Get lots of dodos to make kibble to tame.

To tame it you dont need raw prime meat you just need some narcotics and only feed it wants it’s torpor is at 20% it worked for me with a level 5

To tame:

Preparation- bring...

• At least 9 kibble for level 100 or less

• At least 20 tranq arrows

• 4 wooden spiked walls to surround the pteranodon with to keep

away predators (leave a small hole for you to crawl through)

• At least 20 Narcotics

• At least 3 bolas (the two extras in case you miss)

To knock out-

• Immobilize with the bola

• Hit with a tranq arrow. Wait five seconds. Repeat until knocked

out.

To tame-

• DO NOT give all the kibble or narcs at once. If a larger predator, such as a T-Rex, comes along, it will kill the pteranodon and you will have to retreat. You will most likely lose the narcs and kibble if you give the pteranodon all of it at once. Instead starve tame. (The rest of this tip is how to starve tame)

To starve tame-

1. Knock the Dino out

2. Wait until the Dino is at 3/4 to 1/2 hunger

3. Give the Dino narcos if needed. Only give one at a time.

4. Feed Dino with preferred kibble.

5. Repeat.

You need to make bola in crafting then find pteranodon any colour then trap it with bola finally press RB and LB at same time then select tame the put meat in inventory

Tip for fast and easy taming

Make sure you’re well rested

Or you walk with sleeping bag incase you see one

Sleep first before you knock out any dino

Then put your food in inventory for taming

Won’t take up to a minute 😌

When you knock it out make sure to put spikes around it so no predators kill it then starve it and make sure to keep a eye on its torpor because it drains fast and if this is not helpful we’ll……..I don’t know

To tame a pteranodon simply make a bola, hit it with the bola so it stays on the ground, knock it out then build walls and spikes around it and starve tame it so you get better taming effectiveness... if the pteranodon is low level there is really no point in starve taming unless you want to.

With the new ascended it seems the stats for how much to feed is off even though I have my taming 3x on my game it says to feed 3 raw meat but it actually takes 6 so what’s wrong?

Just bola it hit it with a club feed it raw meat make a saddle boom done

It is possible to insta knock them out even higth lvls with good riffle.

Always use a bola then shoot it with tranqs so u don't lose it
