Another easy way to get one is to build a big enough wall by your base and hope one flys into it. They will stay in the air stuck on your wall until you bola it. You can build a ceiling on top of it to provent it from taking off or a small hut so it can't get away. Two downsides, if it gets away, it flys straight up the wall quick and once down it can be seen and kill on the other side of the wall. I tamed a pteranodon level 145 with dodo kibble and narcodics. How come my efficiency went down to 20%? Anybody have an idea why?

I used it to kill 5 allos 2 rexes 4 spinos more than 7 carnos 3 theris

Tame only lv 100+ mine has 470 dmg more than 1000 hp and 900 stam 400 weight it is my only flyer

For people hunting a pteranodon get a bola and a tamed animal

Find a pteranodon flying low or on the ground and throw the bola at it.

Then tell your tame to attack it. That way you won’t accidentally take of the bola

I started playing when I see i pteranodon.

Me: can i tame you?

Pteranodon: lv 18 for a bola.

Me: okay easy enough.

Me:( lv 18 ) now can i tame you?

Pteranodon: lv 37 for saddle.

Me: FINE.

Me: (finally gets saddle) now can i tame you?

WORST STAMINA IN THE GAME

If you managed to tame a 200+ lv and forcusing on increasing it heath and damage (mostly damage), you will have a very deathly jet fighter if you use it right, just try not to dismount it while in dangerous area or fight a giga with it,

You just have to use tranq arrows to knock out, give it meat (of your choice) or kibble, then wait (while waiting maybe make ptero saddle?) and enjoy the beast. WARNING: Do NOT go into redwood forest with him, mine died in five minutes because of dumb terror birds. Anyway, then use it to get argy and use argy for killing stuff and ptero for fast flying and travel.

Ok where do I start I tamed a max level 300 the tameing effectiveness so came out at adout 460 or so see I play on single player I have to games I’m new to the second one I have medal dase butt there easy tames bola I used around 15 trans with accent bow I tamed a level 23 please leave a like please love miss have a nice day

Use bola and punch it out then starve tame or just feed it don’t forget the norcoberriers

Throw a bola on it and then tranq it booom!! You got a pteranodon.

You are gonna need a bola or tranq arrow and 15 normal meat and narcotic to keep asleep

P.S u can only use the bola ounce learned that the hard way

When tamed, you can easily make a saddle for it. Just go hunting for Carbonemys or Trike with 2 Raptors and you'll get all that keratin in no time 😀😀😀
