If you want to tame a high level make a lot of narcotic or farm bio toxin from jellies and to hatch an egg you need to breed a male and a female and make a fertile egg you can't just hatch an egg you find on the beach

If you use a bola it will work just feed it berries and it will be unconscious and tamed very very slowly but don’t hit it to much ok it will be worth the wait

These do require something to keep it unconscious longer, I used biotoxin and raw fish to tame a level 55 during the ×4 event and it still took 20+ minutes, so have good kibble or lots of biotoxin. I had that bird for like 2 days before I killed it with my wyvern. It was my only one.😭

Don’t even try to get any pteranodons under lvl 130, they are a waste of time. If you want quality ones, spawn highlands, get some tranq arrows (crossbow) than find a 130+ ptera, bowl, shoot 2-3 times in head. It should be out, then find an Ovis and the use the raw mutton.

I recommend taming dodos and make kibble taming PTEs are easy and cheap if u will work for the kibble
