Hi! This tip is about stealing wyvern eggs ( not ice) with a ptera. First you are going to level up stamina to at least 1000 or at least 700 if you upgrade speed to 190%. Upgrading speed is recommended but not necessary. Either go to the trench naked, or wear cloth armor. The next part is actually getting the egg. You should first try to locate a nest with no nearby wyverns but if you cannot find one find a nest near just a few wyverns and agro then lure them away. If you fly through a diplo or bronto’s legs you will loose agro. Finally, make sure you have inventory weight for 50 units and then land next to the egg. Recharge stamina fully, grab the egg, and get out of there. If you get lighting attacked go to the side then barrel roll straight, if fire attack barrel roll diagonal away from it, if poison, just go to the side.

Since the bird nerf, these things are not near as useful. Still, if you get one level up stam and a bit of weight. This is so you can fly across an ocean without running out of stam and dropping into a pool of jellyfish to have your butt hair zapped off.

If your playing PvP go around and knock out several high levels, check the stats, go for the best Melee and you have yourself a War Bird

1.MAKE 10 STAMINA BREW

2. THROW THAT INTO ITS INVENTORY

BOOM!!! NOW YOU DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT ITS STAMINA RUNNING OUT IN A DANGEROUS AREA

These guys are fast and agile so use a Bola

And some tranqs if u want a club wil also work for a low level pt

Just a tip....please don't fly into the water with a pt it wil trow u of.

Tame one early even if u just started that way it can get passive exp while u level up..

Or just do a note run if ur deseperate to run from carnos lol

So in my experience their torpor runs down quick so once u have knocked it out u definitely need narcotics. I recommend bio toxin cause it easy to get and it didn’t drain the health like it says. All u need to do to get bio toxin is lure jelly fish to the shore and shoot them with a bow, or cross bow from under water. Hope this is helpful to my fellow survivalist.

Highlands has everything to tame one on rag and build a saddle get chitin from bugs near the volcano hide from diplos and mutton from sheep

Is it just me who thought these guys were herbivores? I’ve never actually seen them attack anything, and they’re really chill.

When fighting someone on a pteranodon, 1 bola can take him out of the battle. No matter the level.

Never EVER go into the swamp woodland ish area with a pteredon.I went in their with my good old pal dive trying to tame a troodon but guess what...a rhy.... Something bug attacked and killed me and my dive R.I.P Dive :(

‘Sigh’ When I tamed my first I made a mistake. I accidentally walked into it’s wing while it was still unconscious and I got glitched. I couldn’t move nor could I crouch. Nothing. I died. Yeah I killed myself. So just a reminder DO NOT walk into their wings when they are unconscious.

Bolas Are A Bit Messed Up Right Now, so Bring more than you will need. Also bring more narcotics and kibble than the the calculator tell you to, just incase it is slightly wrong ;)

If you're a beginner, I suggest using a bola, club and narcotic. That's how I tamed mine.

For people who say that this little flyer wont attack you if you take its egg, it WILL attack you if you take its egg AS LONG AS YOU ARE NEAR THE DINO. Your welcome!

Tame a level 100+ and you got yourself a bird that can kill alphas. (As long as you get the melee damage high)

What till a double Xp and taming weekend and get more levels due to efficiency,on a 150 it would be the same as a gen2 breed bird.
