Tip always bring a lot of narcotics because they take they take a while to tame and there sleepiness gets down fast but takes a little bit to wake up unless you just tamed it

Just bola it when it’s on the ground, knock it out and feed it MEAT.

I tried to feed it berries and it woke up and flew off.

Beware I got raided and at the time I had a stone base and it all crumbled like playing cards because someone had a super high level on and wrecked my base and tames and even kill a high level dire wolf of mine

They dont have a ground basic bite attack on mobile which sucks.

My first tame was an argy on mobile and easy difficulty. But pteras are awesome, they're super fast and can outrun even alpha rexes. As first flyer in hard o extremely hard difficulty they are super easy to tame, just need to Bola and use one or two tranq arrows with an ascendant bow which is easily obtainable through gifts and supply drops.

YOU NEED NARCOTICS OR BERRIES to keep them asleep. They are weak and can't carry much weight, but they're super fast and high levels are easy to tame and have very good stamina. best dinos to travel long distances at higher levels

Just take a bola and club give narco berries and fish meat and there you go one of the easiest tames with a mid game saddle for some reason

This happened today but my pterandon named zoomies glitched out in the middle of my being swarmed by spiders and worms and caused me to kill myself, he is on an island that only another pterandon can reach, I took my 3 hours to capture him too :(

Hit it with a Tranq arrow or two. Watch where it falls. Then feed it lots of meat. And Narcotic to keep it asleep. Does take a while to tame.

I knocked mine out and gave it kibble it was all tamed up I have 50 thousand metal on him because I went on a metal run and I was flying then auto turrets from someone's base shot me out of the sky 1 like =1 prayer to hope hes in a better place this name was Johnathan I'm really sad he was level 568

If you’re taming a pteradon and waiting for it to starve out or haven’t begun raising its taming bar up, please put any Dinos you have with you on passive and guard this pteradon. I found a 290 pteradon and then my Rex killed it accidentally while taming because of some attacking ants. Then, I found another 290 pteradon but it got attacked by scorpions while I was gone and the taming efficiency is bad, so I gave up on it. I will slaughter all the scorpions.

Ready good to not be in danger in redwood also don't fly low in the swamp, really good for travelling at early game and mid Game I don't quite remember when you unlock the saddle but even tho it might be hard it's so worth it to get a high level, hope this helped

They are good at Pvp if they get a good health and steam

If you guys are having problems, getting ones with good stamina stats try taming lower levels. I tamed my perfect PT Fern star at only level 18 and he had amazing stamina stats without me trying I only had to put like one or two points in and it was perfect I’m flying over forests in one go!

Hey guy who said it only took 5-8 seconds it took longer for me and I used 2 dodo kibble to te guy who said use one only use one if it’s a low lvl

Taming steps:

1:wait for it to land

2:shot bola on it

3:use a wooden club on its head

4:put meat in inventory

5:boom you tamed it🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
