Just bowling these guys and get them down to 200 health and then use a wooden club to knock them out the take raw meat not berries

1. Find a pteranodon with good stats and leveling or just one you desire

2. Bola said pteranodon

3. Force feed it tranq arrows (not actually just shoot it)

4. Feed whatever taming food you want

5. Name it then craft a saddle (if you are on valguero I’m sorry)

6. Enjoy your pteranodon and level it up!

How to tame these early-ish fliers!

Step 1. Get a Bola and throw it at the PT

Step 2. Hit it with a tranq arrow (if that doesn't work shoot another one

Step 3. Feed narcotics to it from time to time

Step 4. Put meat in inventory

Step 5. Wait

Step 6. Enjoy

DO NOT let them run out of food. Was taming a lvl 110 on 96 percercent ran out of food are dropped to 45 percent.

The river along the redwoods seems to hold the highest level of pteranodons due to the large spawn rate

It is way easier to use bola on these while they’re on the ground. It is much harder while they’re in the air. Just beat them with bat when they are stuck. Then use raw meat to tame. It doesn’t take much meat but it does take a long time.

I just tamed a lvl 130 female on lost island, all I did was bola it, then shot it with tranq arrows until it fell asleep, fed it meat and Narcotics until it was tamed.

I was lvl 21

Stam is a must and probably most important remember this tame was implemented for a scout not an aplha killer was fun wile it lasted...add weight if needed.

There’s an error in design with the pteranodon. There are teeth inside the beak, but the name pteranodon literally translates to “winged without teeth”. It might as well be a pterodactyl!

So if your gonna take its egg I recommend you have a strong weapon or a strong dino with you i stole one egg and i went on trike easy ptera egg so i recommend you have a good weapon

feed it nartic/bio toxin/narco berries. to feed narco berries with no hassle switch between meat and narco berries, and vola! you have good tame.

Wait till the Pteranodon is super hungry then feed it prime meat

To the person who is asking how to pick up small dinos on mobile, just seipe up the moment you get close to the small creature you want to pick up

How do I hatch an egg? On mobile

Keep hitting it because they get up really quickly and make sure to get ark ascended

Tame one of these because they move you around the map quickly plus they have a boost of speed to get away from dinos but it takes a lot of stamina.
