There is one thing that megapirannas are scared of a Saco they are good at killing them thay will swim away from them if thay get close to one or just build a bridge over the river.

If you want these things out of your life, just get a pile or a icthyornis, (yes, those birds the eat your narcotics and don’t die from the dosage, those guys). With the pike, just go stab silly and you will impale them. With the seagull, order it to release hell on the piranhas and make sushi with their meat.

If you’ve got a sheer enough drop off into deep water, these are easy and hilarious to kill. I was dehydrated in a cave one time, stepped into the water to see 20 of these guys turn to me, stepped out and they all popped out after me. They die the second they hit air.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING you step one foot into the water they are already after you not even worth taming

Just dive underwater for a little bit then get out get tons of

spears either throw them or stab them if there’s a who lot of them

If your a low level with not much stuff, use a spear. They’re great for killing them. If you want to cross a river or something then spear it. That way you can hit it without it hitting you

A good creature to kill these with is spino but if you are early game then anything semi-aquatic can work like an otter, otherwise stay away for rivers or swamps

So when you encounter theses swim to land and it will get stuck and you will be on land and you can get a spear and kill it.

There is no tips for this, its just plain useless

Not really that bad, just pull a big brain 900 iq and don’t go in the water.

Simple as that. Might be annoying for new players but they don’t have much to lose and you can easily get around the southern spawn points without going in water.

THIS is the worst mod when you are an noob (besides a raptor)

I lost my first tame level 27 carbonemys to these I was so sad

THS LITTLE DUDE KILLED MY DILOPHASURAS AatND HE WAS LIKE LEVEL 40 but he decided I don’t want to live and jumped into the water and let the perinea kill him so I took all my loot that was dropped and killed the perana with my hunters bow or someth8ng like that

Literral nightmare for early tier players, avoid the swamp and the rivers. These vicious monsters will spot you once u go underwater, running away is very hard since they do a lot of damage.

Having a mount that can attack in all directions can save you from a piranha swarm! Highly recommend the Baryonyx for it’s spinning attack. Won’t stun them like larger creatures but if melee is high enough it can 1 shot and harvest them all in one swoop. If that’s hard to find, a Moschops can kill piranhas swimming behind it but it won’t harvest fish for some reason. Useful in caves!

My Trike died to this thing, I hate them more than anything, AND THAT WAS MY BEST DINO (so far)
