If you want to kill these little monsters, you first should submerge into the water and scan your area.

They should come at you.

Once you see them, shoot them with a crossbow.

If you dont have a crossbow, lure them to shore, where they should die instantly. If they dont die, stab them with a spear.

A piranha is tameable in Abberation using the fish trap. It has to swim into it. Once you release it from the fish trap, it will be tamed. Great tame in packs, they can kill a good amount of low to mid level groups of players.

These things are the most ANNOYING things in the rivers

I was searching for beaver dams on my sarco and these guys came at me but swam away once they got close to my sarco. Take a sarco into the water, they scare piranhas away.

These are the worst thing ever, so I vanished em' all from da sea!

This little dipshite will wait for you to get halfway across the river then strike.

These things absolutely suck,when you swim in like a 5 ft river they shred you apart, they almost killed my new carno and my old para, so pls murder these things if you ever get the chance, ⤴️ So more ppl know to spear with b*tches.

These things will spawn in your water pen and kill your tames if they're on passive. Make sure you have Dino's to kill them or foundations all around your pen, they've killed so many of my Icthyosaurus' it's not even funny.

To successfully tame these place these in a cage then place the fish basket next to the cage. Press the button to tame or capture release in your water pin. Apparently you control them using standard tamed menu control.

Want to go swimming? Maybe cross a river? Nope. These guys swarm and the only good way ive found to take care of them is to wade out a bit, run back you your sode and spear them from a distance.

They can be tamed using a fish basket from aberration, can provide a nice sea defence!!!

Be careful! They are on extinction up so people know!
