Be careful while having it on Altert! They use more food and might starve really quick if you don't feed them.

I use this guy for everything. He is good for bringing with you for traveling long distances. (The detecting carnivore thing he does)

Super easy to breed. It will take a while to breed em, but when u get the egg put 4 camp fires around each other light em put the egg in the middle and in about 5 minutes. Good berry picker and easy to raise. Good luck with ur para 😉

On ps4 press L2 and it will scan the area for other dinos.. It will tell you they are "threats" even if its just a fellow para but still be cautious when using this ability!

Absolutely wonderful dino to have when you’re starting out on a new map. Just started Crystal Isles today, caught a high level one and was reminded of how much of a godsend they are. Parasaurs are awesome pack mules and are lifesavers when you have low weight and need to gather a lot of resources. They’re also great for moving around to find better areas for a base but they are a bit slow. They can and will defeat weaker carnivores as well. I had one on the Center that killed a good amount of raptors and a few Carnos and saved my ass plenty of times. The higher level, the better! Very underrated and very useful creature to have. 11/10, a good boi/gurl.

All this info is really great but what i need to know is what pressing right stick does for console players. Pressing right stick with a parasaur on console starts some sort of timer that appears at the top right corner of the screen, but i dont know what it’s supposed to mean.

I wanted to tame a 145, but to do that the easiest way wa tranq, but, I’m not the level of tranq arrows. I even started making narcotics…

Great starter dinosaur for beginners

This guys is one of if not the best starter tamed. He can scare off smaller Dino's, such as raptors, and he can detect players, takes, hidden purlovias, reapers, and rock elementals, and, this guys has some RIDICULOUS weight. I mean, a level five that I tamed cause I was lazy had 625 FREAKING WEIGHT! The only downside is they are pretty weak if they get attacked.

Their turret mode enables them to detect hostile creatures nearby, they're also quite reliable at transporting heavy stuff and good berry gatherers, quite good early game tame also if you're new to game don't tame them for speed - they're slow when mounted

This can scream on raptors ti scary them and make they run.

Great utility on early game.

The parasaur is really good if you are trying to get lots of metal ore. I suggest you also bring a pack of raptors or a trike.

Let me tell you something. Parasaurs are very smart and even though they are week they NEVER GIVE UP. WHY? It's because I have story with my parasaur. So in the wild I was taking a parasaur and in the wild they are not smart and do GIVE up. One hit on it, and the parasaur goes coocoo crashing into rocks and ALWAYS running to dangerous places. AND this was my first time playing ARK and I was so happy I tamed one(named him Pary) and so 9 seconds later a dilophosaur appeared! For me that was a big deal cause it was my first time playing so it killed me. I was thinking it will be over cause its night, my parasaur is probably gonna die and I lost all my stuff. So I decided to just carry on. So the next day, I wanted to look for some hide. Then I saw a parasaur on the beach and I'm happy that there is hide si right when I'm about to throw the spear at its head. I NOTICED IT WAS PARRY AND HE WAS CARRYING ALL MY STUFF! That's when I started to call every parasaur-Parry! For what he did!-Sasha

Get a Raptor and whistle it to attack one. Boom. Tons of meat, tons of hide, and more can spawn.

Easily tamed, these are the camels of ARK. Long distance travelers, they can go for miles without food or without needs of rest. They, even on a lower level, can carry a moderate amount. Their primary things I use is their frightening horn against raptors and their radar to check for threats.

I have seen a lot of things saying the parasour is useless even ark says it in the Mobil stickers but early and mid game this thing is awesome good berry harvester and can be fast if you train it a bit
