Always take a few. So u can some for eggs and another for berries... If u r a starter.

Great first tame. Saddle is easy to make, Parasaur just needs berries and whatever narco you can find. I tamed a level 50 the other day in 20 minutes or so with mejoberries and like, 2 narcotics. Great for travel. Just tame one!

This is how to tame it easiest way for absolute beginners:

1. Find a Parasaur

2. Craft yourself a wooden club/bat, bola, and gather narco berries, and any other berries that not stim berries

3. Bola the Parasaur and keep hitting it with the wooden club/bat until it’s unconscious

4. Put the berries of your choice and the Narco berries in the Parasaurs inventory, the Parasaur will eat your chosen berries except the norco berries

5. When the unconscious meter/bat gets lower, feed the Parasaur the Narco berries to raise its Torpidity (this makes the Parasaur mor unconscious) and switch back to feeding it the berries of your choice

6. After the taming meter hits 100% you have your very own parasaur, and I recommend the amount of each resource needed:

10-20 berries of choice

5-10 narco berries

1-2 bolas

1-2 bat/ wooden club

2:once it is captured, hit it with club or fist until it is knocked out.

3:feed it some berries, they don't need very many for most.

4:it's yours, get a saddle and use it however you'd like. They are good for collecting berries, riding, and carrying.

This is a very good mod that made the parrasorur very helpful

1. Bola it or corner it on a rock.

2. Use fists, club or slingshot to knock out. (There will be blood, so don’t do this if you have a weak stomach.)

3. Give it all your berries or a piece of kibble.

4. Wait for it to tame.

5. Make saddle once it is tamed, and equip it.

6. RIDE AROUND AND GET MOOLA! (Berries)

Taming Tip #3

Parasaurolophus

All you need is a club and some berries

Angle were you hit to make it go into a wall or some rocks for no bolas needed

Once you knock it you just have to feed it berries

Parasaur is good for long treks and carrying a lot

Parasuars are not only the best starter tame, they are also great alarms so when you’re out grinding, you’ll know when someone is trying to break in.

My tip for taming these things:

1: casually approach para

2: stay far away

3: bola that thing

4: get out the wooden club and smash it

5: give it every berry you have in your inventory just to be safe

6: remember you’re only level 6 and realise you can’t make a saddle

7: watch it get killed by raptors

I tamed a male and female for daily persuit, bred them and got egg, the egg hatches, TWINS! One egg = two bebes!

They is very easy to tame. First, collect about 25 berries in all. Then, hit with club or fist. They is stupid, so they will corner themselves. Once unconscious, put all berries in inventory. Wait until tame. Once tame, retrieve extra berries and set attack to passive. (My paras weren’t and were killed by dilos, my others were passive and weren’t killed.)

Fun fact Iguanodons are much better then the parasaur. In fact they can jump, have Infanite stamina (when run In four legs), can gather Berry's and turn them into seeds! Plus taming them is super simple, you can tame it the same way as the parasaur too! If you don't believe me, then go to the Iguanodon section and read the tips for more info!

Every mount has its advantages and disadvantages. While a parasaur can’t truly defend itself well, it has the ability to get lots of berries and rare carrots, lays eggs to make kibble for raptors on mobile, and has a long sustained sprint for travel. It can also carry decent amounts of weight, but it requires some sort of protection in order to go to dangerous areas of the map.
