How to tame: a Parasaur

Step 1: Find a Parasaur

Step 2: Since this is a good early tame, you can bola it, but if you are a higher level, then you can net gun it

Step 3: use fists, bat, or tranqs if you have them to knock it out. You don’t really have to use any of these, it just depends on your style

Step 4: feed it berries. Make sure you have a good amount in case it runs out. You could also bring narcs, but you may not need it.

Step 5: Name your new Parasaur! Congrats, you just tamed a Parasaur!

TIPS

Tip 1: These guys are perfect if you need speed. At least for early game since there are better ones.

Tip 2: I don’t recommend these goobers for tanks. They can be good fighters in a pinch, but I recommend the Trike for a good tank

Tip 3: These guys are also good at harvesting, but I would also recommend the Trike

Tip 4: These guys are really fast and have good stamina

Enable turret mode then carry it with your bird. You can easily find any player or hostile creatures around you.

In my opinion parasaurs are the BEST starter dino, yes yes they are really fast but trust me there is ALWAYS a parasaur stuck in a tree somewhere on the map, you can kill with fist or spear and they are easy tame,fast to ride on, and the saddle unlocks at level 9!

Best first tame for most maps unless you have bola sling then you could tame a raptor!

I always level up only stamina and health on mine because I use it whenever I go and tame a carnivore since it detects EVERY CARNIVORE

Knock it with tranq arrow or bolla and hit it with stone and feed him barries

Cheap pack mules if you level speed and weight. Also good friends :3

really good for telling u if enemy's are nearby

Great early game. I use them to kill diplos for hide. Takes a while but will get the job done and not waste arrows. Also they can now detect enemies and scare off smaller creatures.

Very reliable and trustworthy good for defense also good for combat

Tame it in a rocky terrain where he could get stuck and beat it with a club then craft a saddle then have fun

For people have the bow make some stone arrows and shoot the parasour once to twice then just club it and give mejo berrys

I see lot of people saying it's a good starter dino but in my opinion it's not good at all go tamm an iguanodon it's way faster can fight great for berries and he can even jump the parasaur will be killed by raptors. Carnos everything runs faster than it. Just good for telling you were ppl are around your base.

I currently own 8 Paras and I tame every single one I stumble upon ( fav dino ) just gonna let you know easiest way to tame it is to bola it and beat it with a club the bola holds it in place while you make it unconscious with the club and stuff its inventory with berries!

1. Knock It Out

2. Feed It Berrys

3. Saddle And Ride

Get three paras appropriate for your level (what I mean by this is that they can balance out with your speed and compensate for the amount of materials you need to carry but cant because you dont have enough weight) and name the first one Mule A. The next Mule B. The next Mule C. Focus all of their levels on weight. If they are too fast they’ll be like diplo squads for low levels. All they do is circle around. Next go out farming for specific materials you need. Whenever you have too much in your inventory one of them will be behind you. Dump the materials into them. Repeat until each of the paras is at weight right before being encumbered and before you are encumbered. Even if you have enough materials make sure to get as many as possible because you may need more sooner or later. When you get home to your base put the materials into crafting stations/storage boxes/storage. Then go out again if needed and repeat gathering materials if needed. Have a nice day :P

When tamed, it can detect dangers around you. You can put it in "turret mode on" so it auto-detect dangers near by. Also it can collect berries of all kind. Much and Fast!

Chase it into a cliff so it will not be able to get away

I’m on a brutal server so they are 300 I’m lvl 79 I have a shop very hard take a lot get up really fast

These guys are FAST so if you’re gonna take them use a bola and they have good stam once you can ride it
