Tips & Strategies

I use this guy for everything. He is good for bringing with you for traveling long distances. (The detecting carnivore thing he does)
More Parasaur Utility Tips
Ok. Paras are very useful even for the best of players they can show where enemies are and can scare away medium sized creatures (raptors bugs dilos etc.) there awesome.
Theyβre a pretty good starter tame, they naturally can hold a pretty decent amount of weight and they are good at harvesting berries.
A solid first dino tame. Not very strong or fast but it can help bare your weight and in the hostile world of ark a friend is what you really need.
Everyone underestimates these, the tek ones make op metal, oil, electronic, and element dust farms, while the normal ones make good for the hide and mear ones!
Put them next to your eggs on turret mode so you know if there is an oviraptor nearby or the egg hatches.
If you name these as locations like west gate 1 or something then set them to player detection mode, they work as a great alarm system.
Pump levels into their food that way you can just leave them by your incubation chamber with their alert settings on so they can notify you when an egg hatches. With their levels pumped into food theyβll be able to stick around for awhile because I noticed their food can drain fairly fast.
Why does no one like the parasaur compared to other gatherers? Yeah, the others might get bigger amounts of berries but even if it takes longer it has much better movement speed than for example a stego, and not only that the parasaur has decent weight that will hold much more berries, yeah, I get pumping weight on other creatures but starting off with half-decent weight is good on its own. But conversation aside, Cooked meat is better to eat anyways.
I have 3 lvl 70+
I killed a raptor in under 2 sec and it was level 30
The parasuar has had its base damage buffed to 12, base weight buffed to 480, and itβs wild weight gain was raised to 9.6 per level. This makes parasaurs carry only slightly less weight than a mammoth. Parasaurs have had a huge buff.
