This creature can be your mobile base and is honestly for me the best metal collecting Dino. It’s not hard to tame just get on a cliff and shoot it with tranq arrows (20+) then feed it some berries, any will do and you just need to then keep it safe. Then you got yourself a paracer!

What I have learned from knocking it out is once u have the required amount of tranqs according to the level of the tame. once it is angered go round the back of it and keep behind it as it is the very slow and has wide turns and u should end up being behind it as it is chasing u.

Use 12 trank darts with the long neck rifle works like a charm if u want better get it stuck between big rocks so I wouldn’t run away

Decently worth taming good for shooting of the platform saddle also just place loads of turrets on the saddle and boom u got a moving death machine

Shot it and hop on a flying mount and fly to a tall rock

Easy tames not really good for pvp if you don’t got terrent awsome for pve mobile dase thou

Here is a hard but easy way to tame a paracer. Go to a high point on the ledge of the tall rock in the Swamp next to redwoods. Get lots of tranqs. It might be hard, but keep on trying. Soon the Paracer will torpor run. You can shoot it in the swamp water, just make sure its not too high. Put loads of narcotics and berries in there. Have fun with your new mount. It's saddle is cheap, so you don't have to worry. I hope this helps!

Bring extra Narcotics if doing a Berry tame. Personal experience and all.

tapejaras are GREAT for taming anything in the redwoods: allos, rexes, paracers, carnos, etc. just grab a longneck & tranq darts/shocking tranq darts (or tranq arrows if that’s your thing) and aggro the dino you’re taming. fly onto the nearest tree and land. fire tranqs down onto their head & you’ve got an easy KO. pro tip for anyone using godmode: pop some narcotics into whatever you’re taming, set the speed at 25% so the torpor drains super slow & spam the level up target button until their food is less than halfway depleted (it drains super fast when leveling up). just keep an eye on their torpor. you may have to pop a few more narcotics into them every 80 lvls or so, but if you give them 20 narcotics off the bat along with 25% speed, it’ll take a while for all 20 to be applied! i’ve tamed 600-700 lvl creatures with this starve tame method and they only need 1-2 kibbles most of the time. happy taming :D

When you find one keep it away from others so you don’t have to worry about others killing you or your tame

I'd tame a low level like 5-15 and kill it when I have a high level tame, that way I can use the moschop and get 50-100 prime

Try and find one near a dense forest and shoot him. Run away and find a big tree while he's still aggroed and play ring a round the rosie while shooting him :)

Important to know! The Paraceratherium can not walk up a ramp.

I did tame it was lvl 27 now it’s lvl 34 and has 3543 health

I was able to 5 shot a lvl 11 thery with it it took 23 shots with a cross bow

to ko and 200 narco berry’s to keep ko and like 150 berry’s

to tame.

Do NOT tame this guy with berries. His torpor drops fairly quickly and he will have terrible taming effectiveness.

easy tame, Literally all u gotta do is go to redwoods, and shoot him with tranqs, I would recommend u get on a rock while u do this

It requires around 27 tranq arrows to tame, but craft 30 just in case. There isn’t an animal commonly found in swamps with Paraceratheriums, so you don’t have to worry about anything attacking your tame. You’ll need around 10 narcotics to keep it knocked out. Build a mortar and pestle next to it just in case you need more narcotics. If you’re planning a voyage and are in early game, no matter how hard you try, they can’t fit on a raft, so just request them after you reach you destination. You can request by clicking the button that says “X out of X tames” then clicking on the animal you want to request and click request. Requesting will automatically teleport the animal to you, but will clear it’s inventory.

Always whose a Titanboa for the knock out and bring a stegosaurus to gather berries for the taming
