I use my paracer as my cargo transport dino for short to mid distance. I use it to go to the redwood nearby and gather MASSIVE amounts of metal. Just hop off, get the metal, load up the paracer, then get back home. They can defend themselves quite effectively
On Scorched Earth the Paracer with its platform saddle is a needed tame. You can put a cannon on it and use it for taming Rock Elementals or use its high weight and health for carrying large loads of supplies around through dangerous areas.
Put a tek force field on this thing and bam. You have a mobile impenetrable shield that you can walk right into a base and to tank turrets slowly while your enemies watch and can do nothing but try to rocket it down.
If you build a base on this thing be sure to make a ramp up to it as you can load tames onto the back of this. Normally I bring some raptors and/or slow moving tames anky, stego, daodon ect. Upvote so everyone knows :)
You can put an outstretched platform with railings on front of paracer and then put moschops on the platform then jump on Rex or giga and kill stuff but don't harvest so when the paracer comes the moschops will eat the corpse and gather tons of prime.
These are amazing. The high health, amazing weight, and speed make them even better than a bronto at times, i currently have 4 kibble tames that can transport half my base worth the items from the red obelisk to the redwoods in under 30 minutes
Basically a beast, I've got one on officials with 2 rocket turrets raided like 4 bases with it. It can tank and blow there base up 60 k health is what we're sat on right now. It's platform saddle is nice our one has 59.1 armour.
The Paracer is great in Scorched Earth, it works as a mobile base, mining rig, or a transport Dino. If using as a mobile base use a few destructible pillars and ceilings to lay foundation slightly below the platform so you can build a structure on the back that will keep you insulated while riding. If using as a mining rig you can place a ramp for your Anky or have a mantis run along with it, if the Paracer gets over weight just use a whip on it and it will move. If you're using as transport I recommend around 140% movement speed and about 2k stam, you'll be able to get anywhere very quickly. Oh and don't forget, if there's a large drop off in your way, you can run off with the Paracer and dismount in air, wait till it hits the ground and remount, you will take no fall damage.
