Since it’ll only aggro if you attack it, you can tame it pretty easily; find one in a safe enough area and box it in using stone dinosaur gates. They can’t break stone and they can’t fit through the gates, so it’s stuck in there. I only needed four gates but bring a few more just in case it doesn’t stay still. After that, just get a safe distance away and start shooting tranq arrows at it. You’ll need a good few, but once it’s down everything should be okay. I gave it a stack of carrots and kept an eye on it, ended up giving it about 7 narcotics total and after about 20-30 minutes it was tamed with a relatively decent bit of time left unconscious otherwise

Will not fit through dino gate. Behemoth gates only. Add one to your trap or you will have to break your way out.

I tamed a paracer level 76 with 3x taming speed and it said I needed about 50 narcotics so I brought a hundred and turns out I didn't need any

Basically a beast, I've got one on officials with 2 rocket turrets raided like 4 bases with it. It can tank and blow there base up 60 k health is what we're sat on right now. It's platform saddle is nice our one has 59.1 armour.

Be wary of fall damage when dismounting these guys.

Unlike brontos they don't have a giant tail, so your best bets are to either put a ladder down from a platform saddle, or find a rock or a structure to drop down to.

This guys are great tame!! You have its platform saddle at level 50. It's smaller, faster and they have a faster stamina regain than a bronto. If tamed they can be a mobile base and metal refiner when you build a lots of refining forges there. Taming isn't so hard you just need to get him out of swamp fill it with tranq arrows/darts and then wait a lots of waiting and it is yours.

Very easy to kill/knockout if you have a Rex would recomen if you don't have a bronto

I think when you get one of these guys you should make a landing pad for a pt.

This creature can be your mobile base and is honestly for me the best metal collecting Dino. It’s not hard to tame just get on a cliff and shoot it with tranq arrows (20+) then feed it some berries, any will do and you just need to then keep it safe. Then you got yourself a paracer!

What I have learned from knocking it out is once u have the required amount of tranqs according to the level of the tame. once it is angered go round the back of it and keep behind it as it is the very slow and has wide turns and u should end up being behind it as it is chasing u.

Don't be afraid,The giants are neutral...It spawns near swamps and many places,I think...When I was walking with Carno named Seflm,A players rushed to me and dropped a note saying help...And a large trembling near,I targeted it,It attacked me first...Half the health was gone,My Carno attacked and killed him,Luckily for my Carno,There where hunters nearby,They all shot it...It was a high level...My Carno lvl 259...Even he was 69/4000HP.... Hu....That was a close call...So some of u guys without even Armor can't withstand it...So be prepared if u want to tame one or kill one....Otherwise leave it alone and it will leave u alone

Use 12 trank darts with the long neck rifle works like a charm if u want better get it stuck between big rocks so I wouldn’t run away

The best way to get Prime meat is to kill it and use a Moschops and level up prime meat gathering

Found some outside the swamp, do not think it is a defenceless elephant giraffe thing. Does a whole heap of damage. Also its actual name is paracertherium

Single player uses:

1. Mobile base: Paraceratherium is basically just a smaller bronto.

2. Early game power mount: Despite their size paracers are easy to tame and their saddle is unlocked at a relatively low level.

3. Karkinos/golem Taming mount: You can place a catapult on its platform saddle.

If your trying to take one of these down I recommend a pack animal for max speed. Like a group of raptors or ravengers would get it down in seconds if correct level that is.

Easy tames not really good for pvp if you don’t got terrent awsome for pve mobile dase thou

You usually find them in deserts, redwoods or swamps.

How I got one was I sat on a mountain and shot away. but then my cross bow broke 😅
