How to tame

1find a Pachy

2 eat berries that reduce how sleepy you are.

3 attacks with anything

4 feed it 3-20 berries

5 there you have it a Pachy pet.

If you use your charge right next to a thicc dino(like a turtle) the charge will hit multiple times, that way you can knock out thicc bois without getting hurt

I've found it does a better torpor than the scorpion or frog, a good pachy can knock out small to medium dinos with minimal problems.

When you're in a pickle the Pachy you use the charging ability and pretty much out speed a raptor example if you agro a carno just charge away and he can't catch you

Step 1 : find one. Step 2 : get a Bola , a club or a bow/crossbow and trang arrows .and some berries or the kibble that they prefer Step 3 : Bola the pachy and hit it with the club you have or if you have a box or crossbow and some trangs then use that to ko it.. Step 4 : once it's knocked out feed it the berries or the kibble that you have... make sure it had enough berries or kibble to tame... also make sure it doesn't wake up feeding narcotics berries or narcotics. Step 5 : wait till it tames and protect it.. also gather hide and fiber and stuff for the saddle if you dont already have a pachy saddle.. Step 6 : once it tames put the saddle on it and go on a little lvling spree killing dilos,compys,dodos,lystros,and even baryonyx if it's strong enough.. the reason you shouldn't fight raptors with it is because they can pounce it and slowly kill it... you could fight em if your pachy has enough wealth... peace out bye..

Tamed my pachy on craggs island, called it slappy. They are quite slow but the charge adds some speed in short bursts, I charge until out of stam and them set him to follow while he gets stam back and charge again, knocked out a couple of dodos while charging.

After you bola them they attack I learned that the hard way

Easy way to tame one is to just go around it at all times and keep punching it then feed it a few berries a walla you have a pachy

Keep your distance if it hits you twice you will be knocked out!!

Use bola and then hit with wooden club. This is the best way to tame a peachy early. Did it this morning. But watch out for other patchies as they will attack you if you smack one

These are super helpful! I bring 4 with me when I go out to tame dinosaurs. Having multiple distracts what ever you want to tame while you hit it with tranq arrows. They also slow them down from running away just by being in the way.

These animals they make you sleepy.

Its charge attack is significantly faster than its sprint- I can easily leave my tamed carno in the dust with it.

Just keep in mind that you can't turn, and easily get hung up on even small rock-piles when charging.

A pack of 4 or more of these little guys can down a low- to mid- level carno without breaking a sweat, but they tend to get stuck on one another when used in packs. Best I've found is to make a follow train with each dino set to follow the one in front of it.

They can be use to get away from predators (if the pachy is high leveled) you can bulldoze through a pack of raptors or allos plus they can knock them out so you can get away

I tamed this the same way I tamed a paramour! Just use a bola and knock it out with a club. Wooden club. And feed it berries and its yours!!

Bola it and knock it out. But first make shore there aren’t any others

Just for a bunch of people out there to know the patchy does a lot of Torp poor it’s just there’s only one downside it will kill stuff. If you don’t get it to calm down before it kills the creature a.k.a. when the creature starts running, you go for it don’t let your patchy!

Pretty decent early game mount for mobility (using its charge attack) and torpor attack. It’s a shame it can only collect thatch and wood and nothing else.
