You can ride this with no saddle after tamed. I’m not sure why you’d want to except to move it around but it’s a fact left out on here so sharing.

If you tame male and female you can just breed them and make mutton farm

To shear the Ovis and collect Wool, you must be using scissors in First Person view.

Put them in a cyropod and throw them out whenever you need it! Portable MacDonalds

If you’re holding a sword you can instakill them in the radial menu with the slaughter option in case they have a ton health

Found in grasslands. They are rare.

Hey when u pod a ovis its fur goes away so shave it before u pod it for its pelt ur welcome

All my baby ovis die with food in their inventory. May have to force feed.

Probably the worst battle Dino in the game but certainly extremely useful for farming and taming and is a must have for mid-late game

Get 1 male ovis and at least 3 females have the mating intrevel so that they breed often have a theri and set it on agressive and then put them all in a pen and watch the meat roll in

Can be carried by procopt

Most carnivores prefer this creature's meat, if you don't have access to kibble this is actually a decent source if you know where to find 'em.

So much mutton I got from one sheep. Why do they not stack the mutton tho?

I got 283 mutton from just 1 sheep

Ranarok ovis are more common in the high lands as they spawn in groups of at least 5, I've seen a group of 15 spawn at once but beware as gigas spawn in that area too

When you hold something in you hand and go to the wheel of options it says slaughter when you hold it down it will kill it try it out it is very sad

Create a 3x3 pen with an airlock door, set on wandering. Place a feeding trough outside to keep from starving. Keep 1 male and any female, put all ovis on wandering, continue breeding and slaughter every male except 1. = Wool & mutton farm.

When u get a pair breed them till u get 4 groups of ovis or more or at least 3 groups
