This thing is AMAZING for getting pelt,raw mutton, and hide. You will never starve again!!

When u get a pair breed them till u get 4 groups of ovis or more or at least 3 groups

1. Find to different gender Ovis

2. Breed them

3. Make baby’s

4. Raise baby’s

5. Repeat step 2 3 and 4 until you have about like 3 or 4 of each gender

6. When over they have a baby raise it

7. Kill the raised baby’s

8. Successful mutton farm

Great tip for admins or cheats on single player (not on mobile sorry) just type in exactly this

The numbers at the end are important the last two stay the same unless you wnat them spawning on you and the first one is for how many you want don’t break your game with a million Ovis and dodos.... T-T

Save one for a 150 Quetz or Rex. It will tame faster than kibble. 😋

Atleast make it spawn in dungeons commonly on mobile.

Do not believe the lies being spread here, tamed ovis are still amazing! An ovis with an hp stat of 1,000 or above can produce impressive amounts of mutton if harvested with a good pick. Just be sure to have somewhere to put the mutton while butchering as your inventory will fill up quickly.

When you breed them you can hold a sword and hold e on them it gives you the option to slaughter. This kills them and you can just harvest them from there.

If u find one, grab with an argy and go to a safe place, I got killed my first ever ovis, can't find any other

Summon ovis 1(tamed) or 0(wild)

A strangely decent mount early game. If you're able to snag a Sweet Vegetable Cake, find an Ovis to tame. It can't gather at all, but can outrun a fairly high amount of predators. It can also be sheared for Wool to make Fur Armor earlier than intended. Level Food to grow wool faster, weight and speed to be a good mount, Health to survive close scrapes and get more Mutton if it dies.

Don’t kill and harvest it, instead, hold a sword and hold the interact button (triangle for ps) and go to slaughter.

You will then get more mutton.

Use a chainsaw on an ovis and be amazed

Trimming its wool does less damage to your shears than you trimming your own hair while producing roughly the same results, life saver if obsidian is hard to come by.
