Use a chainsaw on a baby and get alot of Prime Meat anr Mitten. U will also get alot of pelt

Lambchops killed with edward scissor hands yields prime meat as well as mutton.

When ever you one of these little guys tame it with vegetable cake don't kill it you can later kill it and use the raw muttons to tame a carnivore it's basically like kibble good luck

So either get really lucky and find one spawned near no meat eaters or prepare to go hunting, I've come across a few at the obelisks now, have an argy as a spotter and a carrier after the tame and someone on the ground to clear nearby carnovaurs, also have some sweet vedgy cake already made, getting Ovis is time consuming, also keep the high levels to breed, the low level babies die, out of 4 baby ovis we had 2 survive when breeding, their health levels are very erratic and the higher the level the better, the longer you keep the Ovisthe higher the levels will go, if you need mutton kill your low level males off

They usually spawn in the snow biome

1 sweet vegetable cake will take any level, mostly found in snow biome but also spawns in forests etc but very rare. When looking for them use a pteranodon so you can move faster and a carry a grappling hook as when attached to the sheep you can pull it to your base while riding ptera.

Find a sheep stick some cake in your last hotbar slot and feed it will always be one cake per sheep

Dodos and ovis make a good combo, I’ve officially tamed so many that my game has crashed. A fun too about the cute creatures : don’t kill em’ love em’. (Also, if you’re having troubles finding an ovis or two try going to peaceful fields or the Arctic mountains.

Very rare, got lucky in the snow biome by blue ob. Use these for taming with raw mutton.

The best places to get sheep are the two snow mountains about half to 2/3 of the way up. Also along the snow coasts you will find them. They tend to be in isolated little pockets hidden from predators. They dont last lobg in the open. Check pockets of herbivores. If you see carnivores move on. Watch out for purlovias as you fly in the snow biome. Youll need an argy with at least 1000 stamina and some fur armor.

Bring ovis to base. Kill, harvest the cadaver with a mastercraft chainsaw. Stock fridge with goodies, and tame a pack of rexes.

If you don't have the reasources to tame a found one, kill it and tame a low lvl Rex.

Easiest place to find them is in abberation the trick is getting them to a drop without them dying but once you get them You don't have to go back lol.

You know a lvl 300 Ovid can be tamed with 1, yes 1 sweet veggie cake...

You can find these in the Highlands. They are extramly rare but you will always find a herd of them. Yust grab them with an Arg or a Quetz and fly them to your base. Try to avoid landing near canivores. Easy to tame and to breed

Tame them and breed them as their meat is very good for taming carnivores.
