You can feed berries to the sheep when it has been tamed so you dont need to feed it with sweet veggie cakes only when taming it.

Do NOT have your Sinomacrops on you when go to claim a baby. They kill them before you even get to see them.

Cake is super easy to make just make a farm and be close to a red wood tree and boom you pretty much got a cake

Definitely takes longer than 3 hours as a baby. Careful when you're planning on raising them because they take a lot longer before they can eat from the feeding trough.

Taming a ovis is very hard due to what it eats and dangerous creatures around. So if you have a argy pick it up and take it somewhere safe such as your base or make a little pen and drop it in there. Also what it eats is a veggie cake but it's hard to make. Also it's a passive tame so dont knock it out.

There should be no problem taming this creature at all. They look amazingly animated, and they're rideable without a saddle. It also gives some pretty good items if chopped up. Mutton, hide, and pelt are some good items to own in this game. This is a must have mount. Did I mention they're adorable?

To tame the Ovis you walk up and feed it cake. They're adorable, but if you're new to the game, you'll have some trouble getting the cake together.
