When breeding put up on a ceiling before birth. Baby will glitch through the ceiling but not the floor below. Otherwise baby will fall through the map

They have rare spawns in snow but uncommon in grasslands. I've tamed 4 in 6 hours outside my daughter island base at 48.28 and 6 around 45,40 mountainside grasslands

Guys Guys Guys, before you fly this thing home and tame it, make sure that there is no tamed creature in “aggressive” state (it's the default state in some cases), otherwise even another Ovis would come and kill it… The same rule applies to the gestation (just learned it by tragedies so you guys can avoid it, and good luck to everyone who read this)

Searched for 2 weeks and found only 3 ovis in ark mobile but all were males...killed one to tame giga and the rest two are tamed

Bit weird but I found one in the southern isles on ASA, I had no idea they could spawn there, could be a bug but if you are on ASA and don’t want to go to the snow, the coordinates 78.8, 60.9 are where I found mine. A lot of raptors and carnos do spawn here though, so luck is still a factor. Hope this helps!

They're worth taming I have like 20 and have tamed a Rex easy with the mutton if you see one drop what ur doing and tame it!!!

Use a nice chainsaw when slaughtering, you will get hundreds of raw mutton!

Tame up a breeding pair and never turn mating off for all the mutton you could ever ask for. 😬

Tame a male and a female, breed them, level the health only, kill them cause the more theyre level stat is the more mutton you get (doesnt need to be at full health it only needs a high health level stat)

So, one day I was out on my mantis, looking for bee hives. It was a nice day, Brontos we're killing rexes, Tek raptors we're killing Zebra horses (equus) all was good. Until I saw what I thought was a huge egg, but when I used my spyglass.. it was an Ovis! I had some veggie cakes and fed it, and it was tame. It was fairly good for Ovis standards at least, but less than 5 minutes later a rex comes through and attacked my mantis. My mantis killed it in 4 hits but apparently hit a female Bronto with a mate. The Brontos attacked, killed my Ovis that I didn't even have for 5 minutes, got my mantis down to 100 health, and nearly killed me. I was able to ride away but I'm pissed about my Ovis :(

When raising a ovis they will have low weight for awhile so get ready to babysit
