Is this worth to tame?yes it is here i present to you oviraptor dont understimate its small size it can boost your dino egg production just let it to wonder put it on a box so it wont run away then get your dino and place it near the overaptor then in few weeks you already have lots of eggs

Dodo can get you a lot of eggs fast

They will atack if you steal it’s egg

Best way to get an army

1: Get Atleast 10 female dilo’s

2: farm them until you get Atleast 150 dilo eggs

3: use an animal that is fast and can carry them unless your avatar is fast and can carry lots of stuff

4: either trap them or use a bola to get them contained

5: use tranquilizer darts, arrows, bat, or anything to knock them out

6: feed them some dilo eggs ‘takes about 17 Atleast for me

7: continue this prosess until ya got an army!

This is my first ever wyvern egg run! (I’ve played ark since it came out, I’m just so lazy I just never wanted to prepare for a wyvern egg run, on my original The Island game I had 30 snails and 20 dung beetles with 5 bees, I spent time with them individually basically every day, yeah, that just shows how much I sit around irl and in ark)

They don't attack you either so don't worry about getting killed by these things.

Said would take 6 min and 2 basilisk eggs to tame on Asa during 1x. It took 4 and twice the time. Let the food drop more than recommended

These things are really useful for mass kibble production as they provide an egg buff. Also you should probably load em up with wood if you don't want them to move, unless you have a riduclous maze of Dino pens like me XD

Breeding oviraptors is easier than taming if you don't have your own giga egg supply.

If your oviraptor is following you and you find and egg, walk over the egg, the ovi should start digging three times then it’ll pick up the egg.

Scorched Earth

Is your robbing mother wyverns, use an ovi to rob the nests and repeat this process.

DO NOT USE WYVERN EGGS, THEY ARE BAD.

The oviraptor has a disorder when it eats it repeats the eating animation over and over again till u reload ur ge or render out

I think these should have random fertile eggs in their inventory that they stole when they were wild

Yes the males give the egg boost also.

These guys are hard to tame because you have to feed them eggs. I use a bola and Dodo eggs and they work fine.

Dino you need to tame for kibble farms. Easy way to keep them in place:fill their inventory with metal ingot and they’ll be encumbered. And female Dino’s that lay eggs in the area will have an egg laying buff.Tame a male of that Dino’s species and u have infinite eggs 4 kibble. Female Oviraptors even have egg laying buff!

If u tame this Dino it will pick up eggs with out aggravate the the mom and will not attack you and u can take the egg the over raptor safely

In ASA, I like to keep at least 2 oviraptor at my base, 1 Low level Oviraptor that is weighed down with stones and put on wondering to give the egg laying buff, and a second, high level Oviraptor dedicated to Collecting eggs. I love the new buff that these guys got
