These buggers may be hard to tame but if you get a pair, you can breed fairly effective, small unit fighters similar in usefulness to Dilos except they have no spit but run VERY fast and attack while on the run.

Glitches out of pens and gates. But will stay put if you put it in a 1x2 room. Put trapdoor in ceiling and ladder inside and out so you can get in to feed it. Mine has been on wander in 1x2x1 room attached to my dodo hut since tame. Hasn't gotten loose.

Tame some dodos and use their agg's cause they lay eggs super quickly

Oviraptor may look useless, but is far from it, so here’s a guide to help you acquire one yourself

1. Oviraptor only eats eggs, so you will need to gather some. Bronto eggs are the best, because they give a ton of taming progress, and are realistic to acquire. If you have tamed brontos, breed them, if not, you can easily find one laying around groups of brontos. Next best I would recommend diplo or stego eggs, cause they still give a lot of progress, and are easier to obtain. Breed them or find them, whatever works best

2. Oviraptors are knockout tames, so come prepared with around 15 tranq arrows or 10 tranq darts. It’s easiest to bola it to tranq it but if you really want to trap it you can

They can steal wyvern, rock drake, deinonychus and magmasaur eggs without the creatures noticing. Can also egg boost creatures and incubate eggs. A highly recommended tame for early, mid and endgame.

On Ark Mobile, Pulmonoscorpious is not effected by Oviraptors Egg laying Buff.

I tamed Oviraptor just for that to make kibble for Rex(which prefers Pulmonoscorpious Kibble), but i was disappointed after i did not see Egg symbol above my Scorpion.😢

So if you are taming for just that, then dont tame, else its very useful tame to get Eggs Faster.
