This is quite literally the best tame EVER. It's insanely easy to tame, not counting the one that ask for stupid things, and legit op. I've taken down an alpha raptor with a level 134, and 3 other high level raptors PLUS a cargo, all at the same time. I will say it was close but DANG. and if you have one of these bad boys, then you with have more thatch and fiber then you know what to do with. I just went on a resource run a couple minutes ago, and had to throw literally 7 stacks of thatch away, plus some fiber to. I'm taking this moschops with me until I beat lost island. #LONGLIVETHECHOSENONE

In Mobile you can't ride them so what I do is when I start a new save I just tame one or two low levels then I take them to somewhere near where I want to build my base and set them on wonder and just leave them there(make sure its a safe place so nothing will kill it) and while you do your stuff they'll gather decent amount of fiber (for early game)and once awhile I check them and take everything.it really saves a lot of time since you don't have a sickle early game. I REALY hope you find this useful

1. Great farmer

Easily gets you hundreds of berries and fiber. Great with thatch as well.

2. Early tame

Moschops gives you a passive tame that you could ride instantly without a saddle.

3. Great for beginners

Great for early game and beginners to ARK

I slept on it with the gathering points and they are amazing to gather organic polymer, put all the levels of one into its organic polymer gathering and you can get around 200-400% more organic polymer with its C attack (on PC). And its faster than using a club or a chainsaw

Moschops Cibumutante is one of the many reminders that this Island is full of surprises that simply make no sense given it’s strength compared to behavior.

Despite having a jaw with enough crushing power to break a bone, Moschops Cibumutante is unusually shy when it comes to fighting, and will startle and flee if attacked. It seems to perceive survivors stealing the eggs as a direct attack, as it will flee if this occurs.

Rather, Moschops Cibumutante is far more passive and friendly towards survivors and all other animals, even appearing oblivious towards predators until provoked by them, and will react to humans in a friendly manner.

Domesticated

Moschops Cibumutante is easy to tame and is used for the very purpose of gathering berries and wood (it’s jaw can penetrate trees), and is also tamed as a pet equally often. Just remember, it is reluctant to fight and sometimes displays “coward” behaviors, and it’s personality has been described as “lazy”.

The most underrated ability that Moss has is that it's eggs can be used for superior kibble. Making it easy to start cooking as soon as possible.

Hatching eggs place in deep water and use torch in shallow at night to hatch

It’s so good I recommend all beginners tame him because in mobile he only asks for mejoberry for some reason :D

I used to skip on it but highly recommend taming one there great for gathering resources. Once you level it up enough there still good to use in late game. I do because I’ll just send it off while I go to do more important things then gathering

They’re GREAT for getting wood, thatch, berries, seeds, and fiber! just set to wander and check in every so often and there you go. I have 5 roaming around my base and i never have to cut down trees etc. (this is on mobile btw)

Most useful Dino for starters if you put them on wandering next to ferns and stuff like that the next day so much fern thatch and berry's hopes this helps starters

Easy early game tame to get berries and thatch

best plant harvester, also got some plant species x seeds and rare flowers

This is one of my fav underated creatures. It harvest fiber like a machine wich us very helpfull in starting and has soo high health and malea compared to a starting creature easly on of my top 3 starting creatures

Just so u know these can actually harvest wood and e decent amount very quickly when set to wander I’m not sure if it works on things other that mobile but up please so people know and can develop their things quicker

If you are wondering why can’t I ride my Moschops on my mobile device? Well guess what. You can’t! On mobile your not able to up for more people to see (Also moschops are rated #2 for collecting fiber!)

The ratings might say the sickle is the best for fiber; it’s not. These bad boys can farm 800-1000 fiber every 5-10 bushes

They farm everything you need. Super easy to tame just walk up and see what he wants to be fed. Best way to farm Large eggs early and start a superior kibble farm imo.

An easy mode to start gathering low level ressources and with the gather leveling you can

Specialize them in usefull ressource gathering like organic polymer, rare flower, rare mushroom, leech blood, superior meat, superior fish meat and resine making them the best gatherer of those ressources and a reduct weight for those ressources (personaly i just never made crafted polymer i just had a ton of organic polymer with a moshop and ready to go)
