These guys are good for farming,cuz u can upgrade how much they can harvest for a type of thing , and idk why anyone says they are useless, this guys are basicalyy monsters , i got in a fight with a 154 lvl argentavis and my moschops was 60 with 400% dmg , he beat the argentavis and still had more than a half of his hp. So i dont understand why anyone says it s useless. like so more people can see it 😁

Why is this thing in the Rideable if you cant ride it in Mobile....

Once tamed, this is the best organic polymer farmer imo.

I saw another tip saying you can’t ride them in ark mobile and decided it would do good to let everyone know that you can ride them in mobile, idk if an update changed that or something but ya, you can now.

This is THE early game dino, tame one if you can, it'll be worth it.

You might see a moschops and say: Oh, look free meat and hide. WRONG. TAME THIS DINO. Moschops are the kings of harvesting. If you level up it's prime meat harvesting it could give you around 5-20 prime meat! And if you keep upgrading you'll get more! This dino will help a lot. THEY ALSO DROP LARGE EGGS SO YOU CAN MAKE REALLY NICE KIBBLE. THESE ARE ONE OF THE MOST USEFUL DINOS! YOU CAN EVEN RIDE THEM!!

If you have set 1 of these on wandering you may know that it can run into danger and die easily. In my opinion the best solution for this is to put it on aggressive because moschops on aggressive just run away from everything. It may not save it from a giga but it will help a lot. It runs away from most things before it attacks them. Thank you for reading.

Easy Organic Poly method. Build a small pen with an auto turret in, set to short range and wild dinos. Put your Moschops in and then pick up Mantis and drop them in. The turret will kill them and the Moschops will harvest. I got 6000 poly in 30mins.

These guys are the easiest way to get yellow kibble. Apparently their eggs make this according to the kibble recipes on Dododex

The Moschops is in my opinion the best starter dino, on a new survivor I always make finding this guy my first priority….reasons?

1. No saddle needed.

2. Can quickly gather the essentials like fibre/thatch/berries…

3. They’re actually rather fearsome when ridden, they can easily fight off dilo’s and wrestle with trikes/turtles…..if you tame a higher level Moschops and level in melee and hp you can comfortably engage with bigger threats like raptors and carno.

4. Eating one Trilobite provides enough Chitin to make a Petra saddle….which is usually my second priority on a new survivor.

5. Can be tamed with just a few Tinto or Mejoberry….if it wants something ridiculous like honey just save/reload until you get the easy option…

6. Moschops will always tame at 100% effectiveness as you either have what it wants or you don’t.

Cons: It’s pretty slow but still significantly safer than travelling on foot. Its stamina regen is painfully slow.

Summary: A Moschops will allow you to hit the ground running during your first day or two on the ark. Their ability to collect a wide range of resources while keeping you safe from threats is everything you need in a starter mount.

If you raise your Moschops for battle you may be surprised at just how powerful they can be….the base damage of their bite is 32 and has a fairly wide AOE….my Warchops has successfully fought Rex and Spinos and demolished countless Raptors.

Fun fact Moschops are really good fiber harvesters

Simply the best dinossaur on early game, it great to take berries and has a good damage, if you tame one with good health and damage status, it will can tank everything, i killed a therezinosaurus, carno and raptors with one with wild lvl 70 also it dont need saddle

I put it on wander next some ferns…30 minutes later it's gathered over 300 berries and A TON OF FIBER. Up so noobs can see.

Cannot harvest any small fish carcasses expect for the leedsichthys so do not put harvest points into prime fish meat unless you plan to keep it on a raft and hunt down Leeds. If for some reason you do, harvest the carcass quick before the other predators get to it and you moschops. Happy harvesting!

TIP: If you put these things on wander, then they can gather SO much fiber, so build a pen for them and get fiber!

When taming one, remember that not only are they all around really solid tames, but also keep in mind that according to Dododex, Raptors are #100 for base melee damage and these are number #53, so they hit like a truck if you level melee. So level melee and health, you won't regret it.
