I got over 500 fiber in under a minute with one.

To get the moschops to harvest resources on mobile:

1-set to aggressive

2-enable wandering

3-disable following

4-give it a minute he won’t exactly harvest everything in his path right away from what I’ve seen. Instead he kind of just walks around and breaks trees and bushes

(You may need to play with targeting settings if it doesn’t work)

For some reason I never realized that you could ride Moschops saddleless until watching Axeman’s Ark 100 Days Hunted video. I had tamed 2 when I was new but found no use for them so killed them. After finding out you could ride them I immediately tamed one turns out you CANT ride them in mobile:( After that I named it False Expectations and headed home, thinking once again it was useless. When I got back I whistled for him and Snapper (my dimorph) to stop. I turned around to se him scratch at the ground. I checked his inventory and he had 36 fibre from one plant, along with, somehow, 100 thatch, some wood, some meat, some hide, and berries. I have seen many people asking how to get it to gather in mobile. Just let it follow you till it’s at a bush, whistle stop, and boom, tons of fiber. When a battle breaks out, it will not help, just run, even when tamed, unless on passive. This can be viewed as good or bad as he won’t help but he will escape, meaning if you die while offline in multiplayer you can request him back when you get back in the game. That happened to me, resulting in dead me, dead Snapper (RIP), dead dodo, and still alive and kickin’ False Expectations!

I turn my tame effectiveness up really high in the settings so I only need to feed them once and it instantly tames them.

These things are amazing for berry and fiber harvesting, my only problem is that they get encumbered fast. If you manage to tame one, make sure to level its speed and carry weight, seen as these are not meant for fighting. It’s good to find the ones that just want simple berries to tame, so try to find the ones that have low rarity requirements for taming.

It infuriates me that everyone underestimates this things strength as a battle mount. I have one called the moschops avenger that hunts rexes and spinos.

If you think about it maschops are kind of of like dogs i meen "dog" digs up a bone "maschops" eats ferns and banana plants and zamia bushes and regular bushes but my point is if you pet a dog they wag there tails and maschops do the same thing if you up grade it they wag there tails and hop from feet to feet

Survivor, do not be fooled by its short posture and stubby figure, for the Moschops is a force to be reckoned with. One could say the Moschops is the Shaggy Rodger of gaming, with only its own cowardice holding it back from being one of the strongest beings in the multiverse…

All jokes aside, it is genuinely a great tame even in the midgame. It’s great at foraging an entire variety of resources, flexible in usage, and if leveled right, can deal some massive damage. On lone runs, I have ruined packs of araeno in caves, chewed out T-Rexes, and solo’d Brontos just because I felt like it on a Moschops. In some strange way, they don’t seem to eat prime meat in their inventory either, making them reliable for carrying it across short distances. Overall, a very considerable tame if used right, which could have tanky health and a bite to shake the heavens, but the stability of Courage the Cowardly Dog when left unchecked.

You can now ride them when they are tamed.
